They’re also developing their personalities. My son was laid back. He would stick a limb against my belly wall, and I’d push back, and he would pull his limb in. So then he would stick a limb out somewhere else, I’d push back, and he would pull back in. He never pushed back. When I was pregnant with my daughter, she would stick a limb out, I’d push it back in, and she would push back against my hand, hard. She NEVER gave in! She always pushed back! To this day, she has to have the last word. She has always been stubborn. My son has always been laid back (but they both are hard workers).

My daughter is constantly punching/kicking her daddy in the face but loves to give me little high fives and is EXTREMELY gentle with her Gramcracker (my mom). She loves to dance when I play music and practices swimming when I'm in water. She's gonna be an interesting little girl ❤

So true and fascinating! I live in Europe in a non-anglophone country, but the whole day, I speak English at work. My 1st came out with a love for English since she was a baby. She'd calm down if I spoke it to her, she'd follow English speakers we met outside since she could walk. At 3yo she's fully bilingual because we supported her in developing both languages. Now she's trying to teach our 4mo baby 😂

My kids' dad talked to all three of our babies (separate pregnancies) before they were born. He rubbed my belly, told them stories and "It's time to be still now so mama can go night-night. Daddy loves you!" I admit, he was better at it than I was. Our youngest was "daddy's girl" from the get-go, but they all loved their Daddy.

My mom was crazy for the Whataburger strawberry shake when she was pregnant with me and I came out LOVING that shake. 😂 She also always read books to me before I was born and very early on, I became a huge bookworm. I was reading on my own by the time I was four or five years old and reading college level texts by the time I was seven or eight years old… and the addiction to books is lifelong so far. 😂

My mother read to me while she was pregnant and I always kicked more when she did so. In toddlerhood I loved being read to and flipping through photo albums. I learned to read when I was about 3. I still love to read.

My second child would calm down at the sound of my voice. They would take him to different wings of the hospital to get him out of earshot of me and my body could hear him anyway. I would walk up and say.... "It's ok baby, momma's here. I love you baby " he would go back to sleep and would go back to my room and sleep again. I was in the hospital a week. He was an emergency C-section.

My 1 year old had me craving sushi my whole pregnancy (cooked guys!!) and I personally hate it and it was a chore to choke it down when the craving hit. He loves fish now. He was obsessed with jalapeño anything and loves them at 1 year old. ❤ It’s crazy how much we truly are beautiful women because we can grow this miracle and our bodies just know how to do it and isn’t that just so awesome? Women have single handily been keeping the world alive since time began through nurturing and growing a baby (which is half you and half your husband).

My mom said she had to eat everything spicy when she was pregnant, to the point she would take a shot of hot sauce daily to feel the burn in her throat. Now I love me some spicy food and my mom hates it. She is scared to have me cook because she knows I'll make is too spicy.

With my eldest eldest the only cravings I had was cabbage under cooked with stock cube & water poured on it, and tomatoes I'd sit & eat a bag of them like sweets or crisps, I'd have cabbage 3 meals a day with tomatoes for desert. He is 45yrs old now & has hated cabbage his whole life & as for tomatoes if I could get him to eat a bite as a child he promptly vomited. He did learn to speak English though 😂

That last part is a stretch, could just be needing to adjust their position, although the womb is about relational learning and entanglement, you failed to mention the reality side of stress and tension, example if a woman is being beaten by a man while pregnant, or in a hostile home or in an accident...the entire spectrum of human experience the mother is having, affects the cerebral wiring of the developing fetus.

Up until a certain point, they are. Which is why losing an unborn child is considered a "miscarriage" until that certain point, and after that it's called a "stillbirth".

A miscarriage doesn’t illegitimize a baby’s existence, it’s just a different type of loss that happens in the first trimester

🤔Well it could possibly have a negative impact for example of the mother uses tobacco, street drugs, alcohol, etc or if her mate physically hits her in the abdomen because they don't want the kid😮💨.Also ot cam go the other way too with the mom taking better care of herself & her mate helping care for her extra well because they really want that baby & try to do what's best for them.

My experience with my babies forming taste habits for certain foods was that whatever I loved and craved while pregnant, they ended up hating. Craved pickled anything with the first one. He hate pickled anything. Craved Chinese food with the second. She hate Chinese food and I mean all Chinese food.
