Unbelievable how much these animals grow. I mean you see them big, its like wow they are huge. watching them grow and grow from being about at your knees to about your height and the towering over you is awe inspiring. Boy, we sure were treated this week to some exceptional videos. In this one, the love between Adine and Khanyisa is unmistakable. The bond runs deep and we know why. Lying down with Meisiekind and rubbing her leg is just priceless. What a mother does with her children to lull them to sleep. The trust and love and affection are evident. What I love is that Khanyisa knows how to push some buttons and get away with it. She herself is aware of her playfulness, which I why I all her a speelse Meisiekind. I feel like it's an elephant's nature to protect a family member who is smaller than they are, and Adine is definitely family & definitely smaller, so maybe that's why Khanyisa likes to stand protectively over her.....or maybe she's just hoping for more belly rubs lol.

Joy of joys! This is the deeply personal interactions between Adine and Khanyisa I've been hoping for...praying for! So obvious that as her brain awakens Khanyisa is showing the same love for Adine Adine has shown to her all along! Such a strong bond between a human and a animal usually is only seen between us and dogs...however, a elephant lives much longer than a dog! Adine has a life-long bond now with this elie that will only grow deeper and stronger over time...I pity anyone who Khanyisa even thinks might be trying to hurt Adine!
