@@glassgoat9601 Since I never had English in school and I did a little evening school to learn the basic terms, I prefer to use the google translator to make no mistakes! Sure, it doesn't always get 100% of what is written, but when I look at the translated text afterwards, I do it accordingly! Greetings Schnarri!

It is nice to see the stem coming back together. I do not remember if you mentioned it, but were you thinking about a Stainless Steel cover for the stem?

Tedd, those cutwaters don't work very well with lapstrake bows. I will be putting on a stem band (brass) for protection though. Until awhile ago, I didn't realize the different names for those two pieces. See you next week!

Could try cutting hole in scrap piece then use as guide for cutting hole without centering bit?
