My (ex) wife actually did drive herself home from a c-section! The baby was very sick so i flew with him in a life-flight to a children’s hospital. She stayed at the original hospital as she just had surgery. A few days later it was time for her to leave but I wasn’t there to drive her home. They wouldn’t let her leave the hospital without a driver. She called a friend who picked her up at the door then drove her to the parking lot, she got in her car, and drove herself home.
