It’s between them and Cog Hill Farm. Emu, peacocks, lots of ducks and peacocks. The thing about some of their ducks is a couple of them were wild and they showed up on their creek and their offspring stayed but they come back to the farm every winter.

I hatched some peachicks in an incubator , but most of them got splayed legs. But when I hatched some under a broody hen, to my surprise they hatched well and they were more active than the ones which hatched in the incubator . They love to roam around with their mum ( broody native chicken)

Such a wonderful environment to grow up in - my Grandparents were farmers in Bosnia and I loved being with them in the spring when all the baby animals were born. No TV or smartphone, let alone computer games, can give you this kind of life experience.

But that was 50 years ago and there was no one teaching new learners of English, at least not in my schools. They stuck me in with all of the "problem" kids, so while the teacher was busy with the Downs kids, I just tried to read everything on her shelves that was geared towards my age group, the grade school kids.

If you have Raccoons in the area they are bad about getting chicks, they will reach under and pull them out a friend kept having some missing and they put a camera on and the Racoon was actually finding tiny areas to stick their paws in and pull them out. The boys are such good helpers! The whole family works so hard and so joyfully. It is wonderful to be able to witness it up close and personal through these videos. Thank you for sharing them with us. We're already more than three quarters of the way to a million, and we will get there soon. Hopefully, at that point your KZbin income will be sufficient to help your family expand your flocks and crops, and herd animals. I imagine you will soon be approached by larger scale Farm Implements manufacturers and dealers to feature their equipment on your show (like on the 'Tom Pemberton Farm Life' the Dairy Farming channel from England). That should really help you guys expand more quickly. Fingers crossed that it happens soon.

If you have a local industrial area sometimes they give pallets away for free. Maybe if you can get those you could reuse some of the wood for chicken tractors or other farm projects. We have got some pallets to use from our local place and plan to make some tractors for our newly hatched Road island reds and the mating pair of Silkies. Good luck with all your projects!

I have a tip for guys. It's said that hen 🐔 are very good at taking care of little birds 🐤. You can hatch out any kind of eggs form them . You can give it a try . Because incubator are less successful to hatch eggs . You will have to keep an eye on eggs if they r in incubator & not if they are with hen . More over you won't be investing a lot of money in buying incubator. I love your work guys, keep going 💪❤.
