Baby Peplum Top With Sharara Cutting and Stitching | DIY Umbrella Cut Baby Peplum Top With Sharara
Hey DIY enthusiasts! Welcome back to our channel. Today, I’m super excited to show you how to create a super trendy baby peplum top with sharara bottoms. It’s adorable, stylish, and perfect for your little fashionista.
Step 1: Gathering Supplies
First things first, gather all your supplies. You’ll need fabric for the top and bottom, scissors, measuring tape, pins, sewing machine, and of course, your creativity!
Step 2: Measurements
Measure your baby’s chest, waist, and length from shoulder to waist. Use these measurements to draft your pattern. For the peplum top, we’ll need to create a basic bodice pattern and for the sharara, a simple trouser pattern.
Step 3: Cutting
Once your patterns are ready, lay your fabric flat and carefully cut out each piece according to the pattern. Remember to leave seam allowances.
Step 4: Assembly
Start by sewing the bodice pieces together, right sides facing each other. Then attach the peplum ruffle to the bottom edge of the bodice. Press your seams for a clean finish.
Step 5: Sharara Construction
Moving on to the sharara, sew the trouser pieces together along the inseam and outer leg seams. Then create a casing for the elastic waistband, leaving an opening to insert the elastic.
Step 6: Finishing Touches
Insert the elastic into the waistband casing and stitch it closed. Hem the bottom edge of the sharara to your desired length.
Step 7: Final Touches
Give your creation a final press to smooth out any wrinkles and ensure everything is neat and tidy. And voila! You’ve just created a super cute and trendy outfit for your little one.
Step 8: Style and Flaunt!
Now it’s time to style your baby in their fabulous new outfit and capture those Instagram-worthy moments. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos!
