Due to have my first son in just under 9 weeks while having a 16 month VERY active daughter, seeing how you parent and juggle both kiddos and family time is so inspiring and makes me less nervous about the transition from one to two! You’re doing amazing mama - I look forward to your uploads ❤

Feliz Natal! Also from Portuguese family but this year had to spend a little farther. So nice to see all the food and traditions. Do you have the recipe for the risoles? My grandmom used to make it but I never got the recipe and now really miss it. Cod cakes are so good!!! But our tradition is to make bacalhau (the salted cod fish). My grandmom taught us how to make it and called it Bacalhau a Gomes de Sá. My husbands family loves it too and so do my kids.

Watching your last several vlogs at 36 weeks pregnant right now with baby #2! I feel like I’m just behind you, following you! My son is 3.5, and we’re having a girl! Also in Ontario…. Question for you: you kept her in daycare, were/are you nervous about illness being brought home and baby getting sick? My plan as of now is to keep my toddler home for a few weeke, but… not sure if I can handle a very clingy toddler and newborn…

That Baby Bjorn carrier is impossible to get baby into a proper “M” shape where their bum is lower than their knees. The Artipoppe one isn’t much better. I’m sure there will be lots of comments on this. It’s very bad for their legs to be dangling down like that when they are babies. Bum should always be lower than the knees (some carriers you can only get their bum level with knees - that is better, but not ideal).

Zara’s latest aid campaign was, mannequins with missing limbs and statues wrapped in white, which resembles photos of what is actually happening in Gaza (kids with missing limbs, parents holding their kids bodies in shrouds) It was really tone deaf and there has been a massive boycott…
