You have always mentioned that giving birth is like training for a marathon. Id love monthly updates on how your routine changes each month (or maybe just by trimester?) in preparation. When you find out you're pregnant do you stop certain movements and start to incorporate others? id love an indepth look at what you feel gets your body ready for the big day. A mum of 4 no doubt has so much knowledge to share!!

If you want to train for birth: I can recommend the book „Hypnobirthing“ , there you can train how to bring yourself to stay calm, have faith in yourself and your body, to concentrate just on you during labor, stay relaxed and recduce pain and to see giving birth positiv.

Aw I love that your due date is August 9! My great-grandmother's birthday was August 9 and I was due to be born then too, but I was late. My great grandmother was born in 1911 and lived to 107! She was such a wonderful woman & inspiration, thank you for bringing me the joy of remembering her today☺️

Loved giving Ivy a sip and telling her "don't tell the others". In my house I try to sneak a piece of cheese or something to the one kid in the kitchen, and they go running down the hall to their 4 siblings, "GUYS, CHEESE!"🤦😅 Me:SSSSSHHHHH!!!

I really wish I was pregnant again. Even though I was only pregnant for two months and it was my first pregnancy, I just wish it lasted. I just loved it. Me and my partner were told we couldn't conceive and I haven't had any contraception for over ten years but it still happened. I do love watching your videos and its a bitter-sweet thing to feel but I'm so happy for you and anyone else that's going through this amazing journey!

The dates are guess dates. Babies come when they're ready. The ultrasounds are off at times. With my 3rd, I was measuring 2wks ahead. They said baby would be 10lbs, at least. Not at all. Baby was less than 10lbs and came 10 days after his guess date. Such a beautiful birth.

In Manitoba we get 1 ultrasound at around 20 weeks. Unless you are of advanced maternal age or conceived via fertility treatments. Or if doctors suspect something is wrong. So consider yourself lucky 😊

Also, my fourth baby really threw me for a loop. She was a surprise gift and the only one of my babies that was late. My first three were all born at 39 weeks. She was born 2 days after my due date. Also my longest labour.

She says herself whats on your skin goes in your blood and your baby, including salicylic acid -her words not mine 😛 For a more general approach, salicylic acid can make your blood thinner, which is not good and your baby. My doctor never said there is a safe amount, if yours did, you follow your doc. I am generally not paranoid but I also don’t take medical advice from non medical professionals!
