Congratulations! Im 20 and my partner is 21 and I was so nervous. Our baby girl is a week old today and the second you meet your child and see their eyes and feel them everything changes. Holding them is the closest thing to perfection I have ever experienced in my whole life. I am the most fulfilled I have ever been, ever. Being a father is the most important thing any of us will ever do and its the most amazing experience I've ever had. You get so tired sometimes but the whole time you're loving every second of it

My wife’s due date is 09/20/2021. I watched this video once before we started trying. Our gender reveal is coming up 05/01/2021. I came back here for a refresher and I will probably be back here again just before and just after it’s born. Edit: I’m going to be the father of a baby girl! Edit: My baby girl Kinsleigh was born early on 09/03/2021 at 37 weeks via C-section. This video definitely came in handy. Very glad I watched it more than once.

Bonus tip for new dads!! Make sure you put a clean baby wipe over your child’s private area. It’ll give you a chance to get the diaper in the right position and for your child not to pee on you. My husband learned this the hard way. You don’t need to do anything crazy just to be sure there’s a clean baby wipes on the private area.

First time Dad here. My daughter was born on 13 November 2021. I try everything possible to maintain my cool when she's crying. She goes from 0 to 100 in a second and holds her breath. Her crying really gets to me sometimes and I do lose my temper. That's when the mom takes over. Sleepless nights hit hard. I've no "fatherly" or male support from anyone and pretty much anything I do is met with criticism or a resistance from the wife, or my mom. So yeah, I do everything I can for the house and everyone around me. I devise plans, schedules etc and always find new ways to make life easier for everyone. Anyway, I was happy to be a Dad but with so much negativity and lack of male support around me, I'm pretty on the right path of not giving a shit anymore thanks to the continuous resistance and being called stubborn and so on whenever I insist on things being done the right way.

Hate to hear you’ve been going through this my man. I’m 4 months out from becoming a new dad and I can say that there’s not nearly as much support or as many resources for us as there is for mothers. It’s difficult but I’m hella proud of you for doing anything you can to be there. You’re a good father for doing whatever it takes to provide security and love to your daughter regardless of what people may say. Parenting isn’t innate, and we all have to learn the new part of ourselves that comes with the birth of our child in addition to getting to know a little person that’s half of us. I’m a new dad as well and what they teached me is to lay the new diaper underneathe the baby first before removing the old, this way you prevent the poop or pee on you changing pillow.
