⚖️It's official - I'm going to law school!

Finally! I've been wanting to make this video for the longest -
Thank you so much for being so patient with me regarding my law school updates.
I hope this sum up of my cycle explains a lot and I hope everyone is excited with upcoming DC vlogs because I'm already here and I already love the city so much! :D

I always knew that, among our small circle of friends, you had the brightest mind and talents. I am 120% sure you will be a huge success in law school. You strike me as a person that will not be too intimidated by the process of attending law school, who possesses the tenacity and grit thats required when the chips are down! Like Mr. Ricketts said in 1 of your previous vids, “there will be times when you may feel overwhelmed, but what will get you through, is that you remember what got you there, & why you’re there! “ Anyone who’s traveled as much as you, and overcome the K-pop issues you have, demonstrates some real strength & independence to navigate law school & your future legal endeavours! Whenever, things got difficult for me in law school, I never forgot my past experiences in the military, & life in general, & remembered to “always, stay alert, stay alive, & stay focused”, as well as to “see the forest from the trees, sift the relevant from the irrelevant, & make the best choices for you!” Before every trial, I would say these 2 quotes silently to myself, & it always kept me calm & focused! Also, I want you to remember, that the toughest trials for me, were those where opposing counsels were women! So, I have a lot of respect for them! Something tells me, once you’re done, you’ll do great, & become tough when you need to be. Though stressful, I loved being a trial attorney, its not for everyone but it fit my personality, & thats what really matters. In addition, I loved the challenges, and the ability to be creative, but always remembering to do my job “within the bounds of the law”. I’m excited for you, & glad I’m retired, but sad I won’t meet you as opposing counsel in a court of law, but maybe I should be thankful! (Just kidding). Take Care, & Enjoy the Journey!

Happy for you, Gina!! I can understand the stress of these impending life-changing moments; I don't think it's ever happened in my adult life where I got good news and felt truly excited. The event has to happen first, and then I react. What I hope for you is that once you're fully settled at the school (maybe that's right now?), that you can experience the joy then -- it's what you deserve to feel. Again, happy for you. I love watching your life unfold, you've inspired me and given me more perspective on my own life. :)

How exciting! It really sucks that you’re afraid of something going wrong (which is totally reasonable!) I also have a similar fear when something seems too good to be true. I always spare my own feelings and I don’t let the happiness take over(?) until I’ve gone through and experienced the first day. I so missed your sit down vlogs and finally here's one. I'm so so happy for you because finally you're starting a new chapter in your life which you wanted so much and put your heart into but at the same time I'm feeling sad because of what you've been through in the past that left a scar in your life. But I believe in you, you can get through it, every painful experience you've had in the past. I agree with your friends that you've already experienced a lot of pain, a lot of downfall, but instead of being discouraged, think of it as your stepping stones toward your success in life. The more of it you've had in the past means the more experienced you are, the more trained you are, the more you will be able to cope with any challenges and difficulties that you may encounter in the future. Those will be your stepping stones, you already have hundreds, thousands, millions of steps ahead of you, you just have to go all the way up, slowly, one step at a time. God has better plans for you.

Congratulations. YT algorithm showed me your 12 years journey with music, that's a wild ride. It's hard going back to school when you're older but you had an ungodly advantage over others that is your life experience and maturity. If you're missing home, there's a large korean population and food in Annandale va and Ellicott city md. You'll need to drive though. Good luck

아뇨- 제가 알기로는 다니는 학교의 학위만 딸수있어요. 교환학생 프로그램이 상호 맺어진 한국 로스쿨에서 1-2학기를 보낼수는 있지만 (예를 들면 조지타운 로스쿨은 연세대 로스쿨과 교환학생 프로그램을 운영해요) 그렇다고 그 학교의 학위를 주는건 아니에요.
