I have pretty much the same reaction to it so def not fake. People can just be insensitive sometimes. I also think that there is so much content on YT that is overdramatized that people have become desensitized and can’t decipher genuine emotion anymore.

You know what I hate? Rossi was married and divorced 3 times, had a daughter with one woman, lost a child with another, had a “thing” with the late Erin Strauss, and fairly recently realized that Krystal really was his true love. Everyone in the fandom is happy for him as they should be. JJ married a man she has children with, after years of rejecting his proposals, in a surprise wedding she didn’t get to plan or have time to think about. But if she chooses to end that marriage and possibly look at a future with the best friend she’s “always” been in love with, she’s a horrible mother and Reid is a homewrecker. Also, what is wrong with the people that think if JJ and Will split, she’s going to abandon her children? Both she and Reid would rather die. Divorce doesn’t mean you drop your children. Get real. 1) She wouldn’t say that she was scared to tell him or that it’s too complicated if she didn’t mean romantically. Caitlyn, 5:50: When JJ told her Spence that she always loved him I knew that she wasn't lying. I can still watch the whole "Truth or Dare" episode on cbs.com. She thought that they were going to die this time and she wanted Spence to know that as her last word before dying. She didn't know Spence had that ankle gun until after he shot Casey. Her reaction when she saw the gun told me that. When Spence untied her JJ had her back to him. She wasn't smiling that"Guess I'm a better liar than you thought" smile like she did at the poker game. She looked nervous uneasy uncomfortable and totally exposed before she turned around to look at him. That told me she wasn't lying.

Reid is my favourite, so I hope the writers do us fans a solid and give him a happy ending or have him finding contentment at the end of the show. He deserves it as the crap he has been through is immense over 14 seasons. I cannot believe it took the writers 14 seasons to attempt a co-worker romance. It still feels weird to me at this moment! Did you guys see that it's a rumor that Reid will have a "significant love interest". I mean I personally can only see this as JJ because bringing another actress when the producer says that episodes are supposed to be watched in pairs, just no way a new person for reid can be made believable. I don't get why people are making a huge deal about JJ and Will divorcing because it happens in real life. ALL THE TIME. To good people! Doesn't make you a bad person!

Writer Erica Messer said they will address JJ/Spencer issue at the pilot, where it's 6 months later. Honestly, what was shocking was that they went down that route. Watching the episodes back, I feel like Reid has always loved her and JJ is so fond of him. I may have an unpopular opinion, but I hope their love won't end bittersweet: they're a great couple who has the wrong timing. (E.g after the red skins date, Spence had a romance w that actress, JJ met Will, etc)

SO LOVE YOUR REACTIONS!!!! Reid and JJ, it has always been there. I think Reid, if he was being honest, has been waiting for JJ the whole time. For people who deep dive into the minds of others, they sure don't examine themselves with enough clarity to overcome the fear and see the truth. I know Reid loves JJ enough to want her to be happy, even if it's with Will and not him. But it seems that being with Will is not what would make JJ the happiest. But she sacrifices her "happiest" option and Reid sacrifices his "happiest" option. To keep the status quo. Question is: How is that going to shift in this last season?

Magic Books - I see what you're saying. But remember, JJ and Will got married because she was pregnant, NOT because Will was the "love of her life". It was a "This is the situation and I guess you'll do, so why not?" Would they have even gotten married if she didn't get pregnant? Possibly not. It has a whole feeling of "settling" about it. That can and does "wear" on a relationship over time. Especially if there's "real" love available. I think it could go either way.

@@classicslover they did not get married because she was pregnant. They got married years later, after will got kidnapped and strapped to a bomb. JJ did not settle. She was in love with him when she got pregnant and he moved his whole life just to be with her because he was in love with her as well. Don't sell that settle bullshit, because that not true. We have seen through the seasons how much those two love eachother and it was definitely not a settle. I know you are trying to justify it but she did not settle. They dated overs year before she got pregnant, that not a settle, that is serious when they are at that age, you don't spent time dating someone you don't see a future with....

@@classicslover they didn't technically get engaged before she was showing. They have technically never said they got engaged before getting married.... The only reason we might think they have gotten engaged before their wedding was the birth stone of Henry on JJs finger but they never said it was an engagement ring. And lots of people wait years to get married. Also JJ doesn't strike me as a type that rushes into things. And probably didn't want to ruin their relationship with a marriage, like so many other relationships. And if you think JJ settled then watch the episode with the bank robbery in DC with the Face Masks and tell me again that JJ acts like a women who settled for Will. Because she did not act like that. But believe what you want in your little bubble, just know that you can't justify this one. Jk will come out as the bad guy if the writers go down this road without killing Will...

Omg I've read so many comments saying JJ and Will should stay together because of the children and all, but If she really is in love with Spencer it would be unfair to both Will and the kids to stay with them just because that's how it is supposed to be. The only reason they brought will was cause aj cook was pregnant in real life so they incorporated that to the show. And you could always tell jj wasn't into will. She even rejected his proposals like 3 times and only agreed once will was kidnapped (trauma reaction much?) So I do believe it's obvious she liked Reid but didn't say anything probably because he was more innocent and not ready for a relationship then she got pregnant so she though she had to be with the baby's father and settled and now here we are. I really wish they get together at the end

About if JJ was honest or bluffing: at the beginning of the ep when they were all playing poker Reid called her bluff but she wasn't bluffing, so I guess we got that foreshadowing that she wasn't bluffing with the unsub either. Plus, that silence when Spencer directly asked her if she had meant it... I think that's all we really need to be sure she wasn't lying. I was honestly very surprised by this turn of event, but I'm all here for it! I'm glad the writers decided to spice things up, and I hope this won't end up as a disappointment (like Morgan and Garcia, I was rooting for them so much!!!). I really want to see Reid happy, and JJ too! Thanks for the video :)

OMG!!!......If you look at older episodes....just the way they care for each other its obvious they love each other....maybe JJ realized she loved Reid when she almost lost him to prison and then again when he was kidnapped at the season 13 finale......I just hope this wont end like it did in season 1..nobody ever talking about it again..... Sudiksha Malla getting thrown into prison and being kidnapped by Ben's believers did contribute to JJ's feelings for Spence but I think her love for him started much earlier than that. Spence's first kidnapping by Tobias Hankel left JJ behind with strong survivor guilt. She was so worried that Hankel would kill Spence, and he almost did, that after he shot Hankel dead JJ and Spence shared their first ever hug in front of everybody. When Spence found out JJ lied to him for seven months about Emily he gave her the cold shoulder and only talked to her case-wise most of the episode. That broke JJ's heart thinking that she lost her Spence for good. Fortunately Emily helped him forgive her. When Maeve got murdered in front of Spence JJ Morgan and Garcia wanted to be there for him above all the others. Once Spence let them back in his life JJ gave him an endless supply of hugs and her shoulder for him to cry on. When JJ miscarried her second baby she didn't tell anyone about it, possibly not even Will. Spence was the only person she told about it and she swore him to secrecy afterwards. And then his prison time happened and his getting captured by Ben's believers. Each event was like a tiny raindrop of love for Spence just filling up JJ's heart. After 14 years together that collection of drops overflowed JJ's heart. There's no way that she doesn't love Spence.

JJ and Reid belong together, i think she realized she was in love with Reid after Hankel, they really boded after that. She has always worried about him more than any other teammate, she was going into labor with Henry, but she didnt want to go to the hospital because Reid needed her, when she had Henry, Reid was the only one she wanted to be godfather to her son. JJ was frantic when he got anthrax, and got shot in the knee. When she left the team, she was sad, she was leaving them, but she was devastated to leave Reid, she let him cry at her house for ten weeks when emily died, she came back to the team, mostly because of Reid, when she lied, she was hoping, she didnt lose his friendship the most, when maeve died she was there for him, they delieverd a baby together, he was the only one who knew about her ptsd, and her miscarrage, he was the first one to know, she was pregnant again. He became a godfather again. The happiness in Reid when he gave JJ a big hug that lifted her off her feet, because he was happy to see her back to work. He confided in her about his mother, he only let her take care of his mother, while he was in jail, she was devasted when he went to prison, she was there when he was getting out of jail, with a big hug, she hoped he would do good teaching, he hugged her, and thanked her for looking out for him. She didnt want to the job without him, They hugged when the found him in Kentucky. When her mother came, he offered his should to lean on, and she confessed that she loves him. Everyone is complaining about the writers putting them together now, but look at all the moments they have together. They have shared a lot together, more than JJ , and Will have.

John Johnson I mostly agree. After Hankel I always felt that JJ was overprotective of her Spence. Spence didn't know how to flirt but JJ did over the years. Stroking his head walking by him in a bar. Throwing popcorn at his back during Gideon's Charlie Chapman movie. And all the times Spence made JJ laugh. The anthrax case, though I always thought she was more worried about Will and Henry going out to the park and getting poisoned because they didn't know about this danger. JJ didn't even want to think about Spence after hearing he was poisoned. When JJ came back to work from giving birth to Michael you forgot the happy and excited look on HER face when she saw Spence again. That was priceless! When JJ visited Spence in prison that guard wouldn't let them hug each other. Nobody had ever stopped them from hugging before! I was mad. But that hug they shared when JJ said they were taking Spence home definitely made up for that. You also forgot the Season 13 finale: The Believers when JJ told Spence that she was worried that if he went out in the field alone he would get into trouble again like he did before when he went to prison and near the end Spence gave her an unexpected hug thanking her for all those times she worried about him and JJ was deeply touched by it. And then the Season 14 premiere: 300 when JJ and the team found out that both Penelope and Spence were kidnapped by the believers and in the ladies room she had told Emily about that Redskins game that Gideon had tried matchmaking Spence and JJ on in Season 1: Plain Sight and then JJ saying she had Garcia go with them because she didn't see it as a date. And then JJ cried on Emily's shoulder afraid that Spence and Penelope would be found dead. Spence helped Penelope get safely back to the family alone and they had to figure out where the believers were going in order to save Spence and when they found them and stopped them and saved Spence JJ got first dibs on hugging her Spence. She really does love him!

Once I saw the preview for this episode and I saw that JJ and Reid were being held hostage, I knew that the only thing that could come out of that crisis was for JJ to reveal the depth of her feelings for Reid, and that it was going to make things awkward and interesting for both of them. I have no doubt that Reid loves JJ, but I think he will realize she and her family are also his family, and that it would be better for both of them to leave it at that. What I hope for Reid is that he will learn that if an amazing woman like JJ can love him, then there are more possibilities out there for him than he ever imagined and he actually meets someone.

I have been rewatching the series on Netflix. When JJ first came on the series, you could see a reaction from Reid when he looked at her. It was someone falling in love and I saw something back from JJ. For a bunch of professional profilers, I’m surprised they didn’t see it.

I believe that JJ and Spencer are genuinely in love with each other. I LOVE THIS EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!! The connection that JJ and Spencer have.....you can tell they have always loved each other, possibly even more than just best friends. I am a huge fan of Jeid and they're my otp on Criminal Minds (followed by Jemily at close second). ❤️❤️❤️ I was not okay. I had a very similar reaction as yours, girl. My friend/ roommate was even wondering if I was okay. Apparently, she could hear me from her room and she asked me. I'm hoping they run with this and JJ and Spence will have a happy ending. 😍❤️

Yeah, great writing 'hey let's shit on the one good relationship this show has and let's make viewers forget about that absolute great HUSBAND JJ has and her kids as well, you know those who call Reid uncle" Horrible writing and directing this scene made the show go in.... I was so uncomfortable watching, it felt like incest and it felt like everything I loved about the show went out the window. I love this show because the team is like a family and because there isn't and never should be an "in house" romance. That is what made the shoe great. If this goes forward it will make everything uncomfortable and awkward and weird. And I definitely can't stand by a show that ruins the best thing it has going for it, the absolute friendship and support that Reid and JJ has, along with the rest of the team... This ruins all of it....

What if her little "I'm a better liar than you think" is not just related to whether she said the truth at that moment or not (I believe she did, otherwise Reid would've known or she would've clarified because why would she risk his friendship for a misunderstanding?), but what if it is a clue to that she may not be all that happy with Will. I mean sometimes married couples, especially when a child or children are involved, will keep on going for the sake of the kids. Until there is a time when the man or woman realizes that is not healthy and it is best to go their separate ways. Just a thought

Aww thank you! I mean I can only hope it happens. It will just make more sense story wise to use a character that is already there to be his love interest than bring in someone new when there's just not enough episodes to establish a believable relationship. This is the only way for me to add depth to the characters too as in adds more dimension to the team dealing with two people dating, how reid's role with JJ's kids can change, and how she will adjust to a single parent role. I don't know. Otherwise if this ends up in nothing, what do we learn? Reid is self-less? No kidding. They have a close bond? Again, obvious. Their friendship can't be the same.

JJ and Reid have been my favorite non romantic couple forever . Not a spoiler but tvline has a post ep interview with Erica about Reid and JJ . All she said is this moment,is JJ Reid will be addressed right away at the start of season 15 . remember Erica also has said season 15 will dig deep into the lives of BAU , alive or dead … I have a lot of negative reactions to JJ and Reid possibly romance . If you have watched every season there are so many times they were there in dark times happy times

Cora Baca yes he has. Season 7 episode 2: Proof was the first time Spence called her Jennifer when he told her why he was mad at her for faking Prentiss' death. Season 12 episode 22: Red Light was the second time he called her Jennifer after he strangled Cat Adams thinking Lindsey Vaughn had killed his mother. Season 13 episode 15: Annihilator after he convinced Prentiss to stay and fight Amanda Barnes they called JJ to catch up on the case and when she answered the phone he said "Hey, Jennifer." And now in Truth or Dare.

I really hope that she does love him and didn't say just because of the game. It's time that Reid finally found someone. Caitlyn, another Jeid fan named Becca Gregory commented a month ago what she felt should have happened between JJ and Reid if Prentiss didn't interrupt them. Reid: "Jennifer. Truth or dare?" JJ: "Truth." Reid: "Did you mean it?" And then JJ would put her hand on his arm and look into his eyes. JJ: "Yes." And then I added what else might have happened. Reid would have had an awkward silence after her "Yes" and then JJ would tap his arm. JJ: "It's my turn now, Spence. Truth or dare?" Reid: "Truth." JJ: "Do you love me, too?" Every one complains that JJ and Reid being together in season 15 would be forced, it wouldnt be forced, because its 14 years in the making, they dont have this special type of relationship with anyone else. JJ and Will's relationship started at a very bad time for JJ, she fell for his accent, and flirting, and him sitting at a bar with JJ, drinking on the job, this made JJ look like a dumb blonde, she should have been helping her best friend with his problem instead. Reid never flirted with her, the had very meaningful conversation, he was the first to know she liked butterflies, he got to know her the right way, if they would have been together from the start they would have married before Gideon left in season three, Reid is the one of the reasons she didnt marry Will, when she got pregnant, and when Henry was born, another reason they didnt marry right away is because, she didnt know Will fully yet, because one or two weekend a month for a year, you dont each other yet.

Caitlyn I couldn't believe how limited Rossi and Krystall's guest list was either. Johnny Matthis was there. Will was there. Kristy Simmons was there. Krystall's daughter Portia was there and Rossi's daughter Joy was there. I thought Henry and Michael and Kristy and Matt's four kids and Rossi's grandson would be there. Luke said his girlfriend Lisa would be late and Emily said she chose not to invite her new boyfriend Andrew. JJ and Will's wedding had much more people attending.

You could see something between them in the first season. A few years ago, I read an interview with A.J. Cook. She said that the writers initially intended for J.J. and Spencer to get romantically involved - or to at least have feelings for each other. Later they decided not to go there with any of the main characters on the show. But A.J. said she thought JJ and Reid should be together.

They had 13 freaking seasons to make jj and reid together (coz they do have a thing, obviously) and theu choose the very end to make this happen? I mean it's either the best or the cruelest thing the writers could do to us. If jj and reid do get together... we are obviously gonna be elated. But if they decide "nah, jj and will have a good thing going we can't spoil that even though jj & reid have unresolved feelings for each other" It's gonna be devastating. I think in season 15 something going to happen to Will. What it is, is anyone guess. my theory are i got a couple. 1st Will get bad news from the doctor that he is dying. 2nd Will and JJ fight over her love for Reid and 3rd Will gets killed in a fire or car crash.

Bottom line is they're not going to break up JJ's family over this. Her husband is a good man despite his creepy serial killer eyes. I honestly don’t know how to feel about the Reid/JJ thing. I’ve always seen them as best friends. I know Spence had a crush on her 1st season, but I thought it wasn’t reciprocated and then they were just friends. Also I love Will and JJ has kids and it’s just complicated.
