I’ve never known a pain quite like being too young to experience JMT/Vinnies entire career from a spectator standpoint. I’m 27 and I found out about him when I was 16 or so. To this day never felt a more groundbreaking energy in my life. To know there was and only ever will be one, and I missed his entire golden era, it destroys the kid in me so badly. And to find out 2023 was his last year of touring, just put the nail in the coffin for me. Long live this legacy. Dudes entire life has been a testament to mine in such a visceral but vital way.

When I first heard violent by design in the early 2000s it was hard to realize the effect it would have on me during that point in my life. That shit never came out of my cd deck and the longer I listened to it the more shit I would pick up on and the better I loved it. To me JMT is hip hop in its purest form and that may never be duplicated again

Gawd I love the whole violent by design album front to back. It is and always will be my favorite hip hop album of all time. Brings back so many memories.

The story of the boom-bap legend Vinny Paz becoming friends with the legendary boxer Vinny Paz is insane crazy. What are the odds of these two becoming best friends ? Crazy yet dope af at the same time. Vinny Paz the boxer: Doc you don't understand what kind of a man I am. I will box again. 💜

I wish we could actually see those home movies of Stoupe they were showing in the 1st part and I wish they showed more older shit from them from the beginning through to Servants in Heaven Kings in Hell with more in-depth footage from back then I love that shit!! But still, regardless I'm just glad the fans got something like this from them I'll take whatever i can get.....one of the illest groups along with the earlier A.O.T.P. albums too some of the best shit I've ever heard still to this day yet alot of people ain't hip to them which is fine cuz the real heads knows what's really good
