Excellent clear video thanks (and isn't the internet amazing!) - I should be able to do that.

Yes, it's not difficult, and yes, the internet is marvellous. But when the world gets blown to smithereens someone will still try and Google "Why...."

Yeah these trimmers are notorious for the batteries dying. I've had to replace some myself.

Nice clear video, thanks. Am I right in thinking that you can’t just replace those old NiMh batteries with Li-ion batteries due to the charging circuit design?
@ChasLarge29 күн бұрын
I just used new NimH batteries, not Li-ion types, it's possible to use them if the charging current is OK but I've never tried it.

@ Thanks, I played safe and replaced like for like, NiMh. Worked fine.

Nice thank you Sir for your efforts I just wonder These duracell notoriously have much higher Mah rate than those original 600 mah how longer does it take to Charge it fully with original Babyliss adapter?
@ChasLarge Жыл бұрын
I just charge it overnight with the original adaptor and it keeps the charge for a month with use about three times a week.

Thanks ! is there any way to bypass the battery when you only use it plugged into a wall socket ?
@ChasLarge Жыл бұрын
Not without fitting some sort of power converter, the charger gives out more than the batteries do, so just bypassing them will put too much power into the motor,
