Yes, yes and more yes. Make it a show. Studios need to embrace animation as a way to continue shows that may not longer be viable as live action or when actors are too old. Fans will watch them.

Indeed; multiple timelines scream for a show, not just a movie... (Not that I'd be opposed to a proper show based on the "prime" B5 timeline, live action or animated)

While the original special FX may be dated ,the story itself was timeless and well executed. Initially I was a bit apprehensive about this new project being an animation but it really is the best way to be able to bring back the surviving cast members to reprise their roles . I sincerely hope this is a success and that it does justice for those who have passed and I think it will. Looking forward to seeing it and hopefully later a live action series to continue the story.

This was not a bad way to re-introduce Babylon 5. Due to the loss of so many of the former Cast Members (Mira Furlan (Minbari Ambassador Delenn), Richard Biggs (Dr. Stephen Franklin), Stephen Furst (Vir Cotto), Andreas Katsulas (G’Kar), Jerry Doyle (Security Chief Michael Garibaldi), Jeff Conaway (Security Officer Zack Allen), Tim Choate (Zathrass, all of them), and Michael O'Hare (Jeffery Sinclair)) the use of Voice actors to re-introduce the characters was a logical choice.
