The recipe for Iine: -50 grams of Pop -50 grams of Metal -25 grams of Hip Hop -5 grams of Eletronic Mix everything. Keep mixing for 1 minute. Now add 4 minutes of fun, mix for 1 more minute, then put in the freezer for 30 minutes. The result should be the best song you ever listened to.

BABYMETAL. What's not to love about them? These women are opening so many doors to rock, metal and girl bands since they were actual kids. Did you guys notice how many bands with female members began to show up since they started? And how many Japanese bands also appeared on the scene? I can mention Japanese bands HANABIE, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, BAND MAID, OTOBOKKE BEAVER and WAGAKKI BAND. Not to mention bands with women, like MANESKIN, THE WARNING, PLUSH, BULLY and other bands from Europe and USA.

What I don't think got talked about enough during their initial debut was the insane level of choreography, physical endurance and just the high-octane pressure of that level of performance with everything moving as fast as it does (they're wearing earpieces to hear the necessary cues) and just the chaos of everything happening with 20,000 fans in front of you, and being able to deliver and roll with something like that at 13 YEARS OLD! Now that they're older, you might expect it, but at that age it's nothing short of incredible. I think a lot of that got covered up by the whole "It's cute Japanese girls thrashing; that's so hardcore and EDGY!" thing.
@showgee7 жыл бұрын
Wow, an excellent observation, Mate! It's quite rare to find people comment on how demanding their dance performances are, esp. at that young age. Dancing to Heavy Metal riffs is totally different from dancing to pop music. You have to move quickly and precisely according to the complex choreography which is very demanding even for adult professional dancers and requires lots of stamina and hard works. You might have already seen the clip, but just in case not, here is one named Bebime-Tairiku which was shot when they were invited to perform at Anime Festival in Asia 2012 in Singapore on Nov.10' 12. oriffs.com/sonota/babymetairiku/ Watch 16:00. Having finished performing 4 songs they walked out of the stage then, Yui almost collapsed, maybe, out of energy and Moa says, "My lungs are almost bursting". You also seem to know that this was their extracanalicular activities beside performances at Sakura Gakuin. Mad respect to the girls and I bow down to all the Amuse staffs including the management who trained and guided the girls to what they are now. Sorry for the long post. By the way, iine was performed first to the public on Jan.10 '12 at O-East event "WOMEN’S POWER 20th Anniversary" search if you haven't watch it.
@autohmae6 жыл бұрын
Mikiko, their choreographer said that when it comes to the jumping, the jumping was easier to do when they wear younger. Other than that, I'm certain it's all correct. So much hard work went into it and judging by what Mikiko said, it's still hard work. Yuimetal has also implied that Su-metal worked really hard. My guess is what she meant was, when Su-metal got older, her voice changed, so she had to re-learn a lot of songs to sing them in a different way. It's all really impressive.

I actually liked black metal, death metal, all kinds of metal growing up. Started getting into jpop and kpop as I got older. Started to loosen up and not have to put on a tough exterior like young men do. Have to learn to have fun as you get older. Good for your health, too. Loosen up and get wacky.

That would be KOBAMETAL...and yes, he is a genius in music production. He was able to get three young and very talented ladies, as well as Mikiko, one of the world's most prominent and prolific choreographers, and most importantly four world class musicians, now called the Kami Band, to back Babymetal up. The whole concept from beginning to now is sheer perfection. Babymetal is truly the quintessential band of today.

it seems like asia (s.korea and japan in particular) have taken creative control of music in the 2010's. the U.S music scene has become a big TMZ episode, while on the other side of the earth, actual creative new ideas are being developed.
@lanetrip1310 жыл бұрын
Going to have to agree with that. Also the US underground scene is just as terrible but because of moronic elitism. If you don't play nothing but pure generic thrash, death, and black metal then the "metalheads" won't like you. Music in the US is so stale its pathetic.

Lyrics: English: Tick tack tick tack my heart beats I can’t stop this feeling running wild Tick tack tick tack my heart beats I can’t stop this feeling. I scream Hey, it’s my afternoon snack! Wait. Wait. Wait. Don’t take it in advance of me! All yours are also mine I was left alone. I looked up the sky What a sentimental night! I’ll go, driven by this feeling running away from the reality So good. So good The party under the night sky So good. So good I’ll go brilliant That for now, moshing up Taking little by little is impossible Yeah, yeah It’s too transcendental. It’s perfect A gal must have a dream which is surely super-chaotic Sway your head! Take off your glasses! Swing your head! Take off your glasses! Sway your head! Take off your glasses! What a jammed, bursting, over-packed rucksack Take it off right now Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo! Microphone check. One, two. One, two Are you ready to mosh? Are you ready to mosh? Put your fox sign up! It’s a fox sign, you know? (It’s not a maloik sign but a fox sign) (Not a sign of the horns but a fox sign, you know) I pledged to myself by linking my little fingers What a sentimental night! I’ll go, driven by this feeling running away from the reality So good. So good The party under the night sky So good. So good I’ll go brilliant That for now, moshing up Taking little by little is impossible Yeah, yeah! It’s too transcendental. It’s perfect A gal must have a dream which is surely super-chaotic (So good. So good.) Yeah, yeah! (So good. So good.) Yeah, yeah! (So good. So good.) It’s super-chaotic. Yeah, yeah! (So good. So good.) Yeah, yeah! (So good. So good.) Yeah, yeah! (So good. So good.) (So good. So good. So good. So good.)

The album is actually really good. One of those albums you can stick on in the background on your PC and rock away to what ever it is you're doing. And I swear to god at one point I heard Fred Durst shout out. Might have sampled a Limp Bizkit track in a song. It's all "kawaii metal" as they call it but there are several other genres in there in some tracks. I've heard reggae, rap and dubstep. I do not regret buying this album :)
