Lyrics : MK-METAL Music & Arrangement : YUPPEMETAL 【歌詞】 空を彩る ナナイロの夢 ずっとこのまま 見ていたかった 昨日まで 輝いていた キラボシでさえも I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. 色褪せてくから あのモノクロームの 花火なら 僕らは 何色で描こう 夜空を 雨に降られて 凍える夜は 少しだけでも 側にいたかった 明日まで 感じていたい 温もりでさえも You don’t have to say it. You don’t have to say it. 【Lyrics】 The sky decorated in a spectrum of dreams I wanted to look at it forever Even the bright star that was shining yesterday I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. is fading away That monochrome firework what color can we imagine the night sky? Being drenched by the rain and freezing in the night I wanted to be by your side even just for a little while The warmth I want to feel until tomorrow You don’t have to say it. You don’t have to say it. will vanish eventually That monochrome firework we will imagine the night sky in rainbow colors During the dusk of Ragnarok, what are we to see No matter how long the night the morning will arrive That monochrome firework we will illuminate the world in rainbow colors Just smile

My eyes are teary because I finally understand the song after all this time, realizing that Suzuka (Sui-metal) was born in Hiroshima, Japan.The song portrays the historical events that happened ranging from missile firing into the air, to falling umbrellas (nuclear bombs being dropped with parachutes to give pilots time to escape), to the nuclear explosion that destroyed the city. It shows a little girl shielding herself from the radioactive rain and the haunting image of one last surviving tree. And then she ends the song with "just smile." 🤧 BABYMETAL is truly underrated.

There was only one atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, and one dropped on Nagasaki. Neither of them had parachutes attached.
@TouchthisiProduction4 ай бұрын
@@charly_tan there were reports of parachutes, however it was not connected to the bomb itself, it was connected to measurement instruments beside the bomb. So you are correct.

@@charly_tan In my eyes the umbrellas its collor representation, black means mourning, and we can assimilate the people covering themselves in the rain of the funeral of the families lost on the event. For me it means more the sensation of the people who lost their families after the bomb.

@Caio-BABYMETAL White is the color of mourning in Japan.
It's so amazing how no matter what barriers separate us from one another, the music will still bring us together! There's no need for communication. We hear a universal language that makes sense to us all!
なんて素敵で素晴らしい曲です! さすがBABYMETALの皆さん What a beautiful and meaningful song!

Hello, Babymetal. I'm a Astronomy Ph.D. student in California, and I recently gave a TEDx talk about how the Night Sky unites Humanity, and how Astronomy can foster kindness and compassion in our world, and bring people together. Your songs Monochrome and Starlight really resonate with me for this reason. They were an inspiration for my talk. No matter who we are, our background, the night sky inspires us, brings us together ❤.

That's cool, though pretty sure this is about Hiroshima
@lynn48403 ай бұрын
@@Deimos2k5 i feel like it's about both. if anything, i think the song also being about Hiroshima only makes the theme of the night sky uniting humanity even more resonant -- in the wake of something so devastatingly cruel, wouldn't humanity need something that can help unite us? who wouldn't want to look to the night sky for hope and compassion in a situation so bleak? what color can we imagine the night sky?

@@Deimos2k5 Pretty sure it's not. You're reacting to the MV more than the lyrics.

Saw them in Nashville, first exposure to anything Babymetal besides the name. Bought the ticket for the Dethklok reunion and I was too young to go during their last tours. Babymetal was fucking amazing to be introduced to live.

They put on an amazing show - I honestly hope to be able to see them on tour in the U.S. again.
I saw them perform this in Singapore yesterday. Su-Metal’s voice, the music, the crowd participation, Moa and Momo dancing like angels, it’s so beautiful and my favorite part of the show. I’m not ashamed to admit I may have cried a little during the song

Yes it’s very likely that it has been or is on the verge of being sold out. Lots of Japanese tweets saying that they only got a ticket for one day instead tickets for both.
i was extremely lucky with getting my ticket to see babymetal on December 3rd 2023 for the very first time (also my very first concert). when i heard this song i honestly could not hold back a few tears, Monochrome is such a good song.
Supposedly she sings hours on end of Karaoke, sometimes with her sister, until she can't continue to sing. She also needs to rest her vocal cords now and again. At the last concert of of the last EU tour in 2020 she was struggling, but it seems more likely she was just sick with something else.

@@ukholly1 yes. because everyone has a different understanding. for example, it took me 2 days to understand the lyrics, interpreting them from word to word through a Japanese dictionary or asking my friends. who are fluent in Japanese because I am not Japanese. and I have several friends who immediately understood the contents of the song. by just looking at the visuals and listening to the emotions of the singer's song.
