Formed in 2010. Their major debut single “ Ijme, dame, zettai" along with 2nd single “Megistune" both ranked in the Top 10 Oricon chart in Japan. In March 2014, they took to the stage of Nippon Budokan for a 2-Days gig making them the youngest female act to ever perform there. Their 1st studio album BAYBMETAL made it into the US Billboard chart. The singer's stamina and technique is underappreciated. Given that she's young, she's singing some insanely high open vowels while dancing her ass off for a whole concert. Her singing technique is rock solid. Probably one of the most consistent live singers there are.

But I get what you're saying. A speech is about as simple as you talking to people. A performance can be anything from you singing with a band behind you or having 20 other people on that stage with you too. Big difference. Sadly Jun passed away in 2013 but not before seeing his son become a part of BM. Like all the Kamis he pours his all into the band and loves being a part of it. You can always catch him not just lip-syncing but actually singing along with the girls. I forget which show it was but one time the bassist BOH looked over and laughed at him because he was singing so loud one of the cymbal mics was picking him up and BOH could hear him through his ear monitor. The Kamis are all incredibly talented and watching them evolve and become one group with the girls has been amazing. Fans love them as much as the girls and rightfully so.

Without it, they will deafened by the raw sound of the live band playing behind them. If you play in a rehearsal and hear the entire band up close and personal, even with a separate vocal P.A. you still won't be able to hear yourself sing or your volume is totally awash.
