Syncopation is great, but unfortunately it was only released on the Japanese version of Metal Resistance, which is probably why you never heard it before.

_Suki kirai suki kirai suki_ _Suki kirai suki kirai_ Hey BG, i got my tickets for Knotfest Brazil in October so i will see BM first, i win! 😜🤘🔥 And apparently Slipknot will confirm more countries in South America so if BM confirm they will be part of Kotfest i will try be there, especially if it is in my country.🥳 So far they only confirmed Mexico as a special guests for Slipknot in November 9 in between US Tour but i won't go there as much as i want. Answering your question, SuMetal barely got songs without handheld mic, maybe In The Name Of is the only song but then again, no one really sing on that. I love Syncopation but my favorite version is live at Tokyo Dome 2016 with the East Kami Band, Mikio Fujioka and Takayoshi Ohmura can really give that Japanese flavor as well the anime opening vibes many fans find in this song, i mean no hate for the West Kami Band here, they sound excellent but like you said they went hard on this version and even that rocky guitar solo at the end is way different than the Tokyo Dome, they just don't need that flashy guitar solo to sound awesome. With that being said, i like YAVA! live at Legend MM with the West Kami Band intro but sadly they cut it from the official version, you can enjoy that intro at "SG Love" but it's a live compilation so don't worry for a reaction, just enjoy it on your own time. Kitsune up brother, i would love to drink that beer with you.🦊🤘🍻

Nice! This is an old song that was brought back for this show, just amazing! Su has always had a hand-held mic. The "new" Kami Band has been supporting Babymetal since 2019, and became their sole backing band in Apr 2023. They are the de facto Kami Band now, and yes, they are damn good. 🤘🦊

💕 ⚡ 🍑 / 🎶 💕 The band is still the Western Kami Band. Since they've been the only supporting musicians since January 2023, we can probably drop the "Western" part of the name. Su always has a hand held microphone. I'm assuming it's for sound quality. Even as far back as the music video for 'Ijime Dame Zettai' in 2012, she had to think of what to do with her free hand, since she didn't have a mic at the start of the video.

I am now writing "our Kami Band" since Fox_Fest where two kinds of collaboration were performed with other band, EC and Polyphia. You are right. Chris, CJ, Anthony, Clint and Ryan have been dedicating their power / energy to BABYMETAL's international activities (including Japan) long and extensive enough to be called as main band to the girls. I currently use "Western" only when I explain there have been two band in BM's history. Of course, I love and respect original Kamis. But they are currently and mainly focusing on their own respective activities. So I went to see various concerts (soLi, Kari Band etc.) where I can see BOH, Isao, Yuta and other Kamis.

"Syncopation" was only on the Japanese release of the 2016 album "Metal Resistance", on the international release "From Dusk Till Dawn" had replaced "Syncopation" and was not on the release in Japan.

you know BG-Metal that this third time seeing them is gonna be the third different type of show, the Babyklok was a co-headline and the SNW was a festival, so this one will be a real headline show, you will be surrounded by fellow kitsunes and Megitsune, have fun buddy, I know you will. as for their big production show has only been to the USA once and that was at the Forum in Englewood in 2019, but you didn't know them yet, so you didn't know what you were missing, maybe someday they will do it again, we just have to get them a little more notoriety.

Syncopation was originally released on The One version of Metal Resistance (2016) only available in Japan. But its available in live shows. West Kami's (Amerikami's) been around since 2019 US tours and replaced East Kami's after Babymetal Returns in January of 2023 when BM got unsealed from their 10 Babymetal Bukokan set of shows in 2021. Su has been Vocal and Dance with microphone since the Bands inception in 2010 from Sakura Gakuin, only the scream and dance get the headsets (Moametal, Yuimetal and Momometal). But then again Su has been singing from a young age as well. (ASH, Karen Girls, Veggierock, etc) PS: Jake and Grington are moran̈s And that's the bottom line cause Simmy said so!!

I will be seeing them at the House of Blues as well on the 4th and 5th. It will be my 3rd and 4th time seeing them....can't wait. I saw them for my 1st 2 times last year at the KZbin Theater. Now, I just want to see them in a big stadium show like they had at the Forum in LA back in 2019, so I can experience one of their big shows. Although I do love the experience of the smaller more intimate shows.

Love this song, it has been around a while but not played recently. I like the new Kami band, I liked the old one too, but the new one is more aggressive and I like that. The word Syncopation is a musical term by the way, it refers to a note that is played on an off beat. Say you have a "1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a" in a 4/4 time. A syncopated note would be played in the "and a", and not on 1,2,3 or 4 with the beat.

7:02 you have to remember: the other microphones aren't any good, they are unidirectional and very small/not sophisticated which means they'll pick up a lot of background noise, including drums, etc. which the sound people work hard on dealing with. What she has done is no microphone in MVs.

Syncopation was the Japan exclusive track from Metal Resistance. The international version got From Dusk Til Dawn instead because Koba thought that Syncopation was "too Japanese" for the international audience. Not sure he was right about that, because Syncopation is a fan favourite. For a long time they didn't play it live at all outside Japan, (barring the one occasion in London 2019) until the 2023 world tour when they busted it out a few times on the European leg of the tour. I've been wanting to see Syncopation live for a long time, and I finally got to see it during this performance at Legend MM and it was every bit as awesome as I hoped that it would be. I just about lost it when I heard the opening begin.

I’ve thought about how much Babymetal is worth but mainly because I want the four girls (Su, Moa, Momoko, Yui) to be or have been taken care of. Su and Moa especially should be set for life by now; hopefully they have good financial advisors around them.

IIRC performers in Japan are paid a salary, not sure of any bonuses. The ladies must be satisfied with their compensation as they've had the opporunity to stop several times. IMO I don't think money is their primary motivation; it's their love of performing and the love they receive from their fans. During the "hiatus" SuMoa reflected whether to contiue as BM. I glad they decided to continue.

I don't think they are as rich as you think, the Babymetal franchise is owned by Amuse, I am sure the girls are compensated very well by most people's measure but compared to big stars in the States they would not even be on the same scale

Su doesn't dance as much as the others on purpose. Because she has to sing more. Can't do both at the same time. I've even seen Atarashii Gakko dance too hard and sing not nearly as good as they normally do.
