I'm sad that Minho only sang part of his only solo song. It's so good. You should watch the MV. I'm really hoping for a solo album this year or next year while Taemin is gone. Jinki and Key both have solo albums that they released right before enlisting and now they're both coming out with another one. Key's is in July and Jinki's is in September. It's really hard to pick a favorite! One of my favorite songs from each member are: Key - One of Those Nights. Jonghyun - Before Our Spring, Jinki - Blue, Taemin - Strings, Minho - I'm Home.

SHINee's synonym is RANGE. We have 5 different colors from them and they are different from the group's. While Taemin carries the heaviest and darkest concept, Kibum's is so modern and funky. Minho gives off a chill vibe which is comforting. Onew's youthful and cozy style. Finally our Jonghyun's music is deep and melancholy. Of course it's only my opinion. But yeah I will just share it here 🥰

Taeminnie debuted in aug 14 as a solo, Jonghyun followed half a year later with Guilty pleasure. Jonghyun has in his day released 5 solo albums. Key has had a number of English tracks also working on dance tracks Hold on by AXODUS en fted with years&years ' if you are over me" Key has a full album in korean, with the title songs; forever yours, one of these nights and a repackage with I wanna be. He also has a solo ablum in Japanese Hologram. Onew has one solo album but an entire washing list of OST and played in many musicals. Minho officially has one song but keeps teasing us with the idea to produce an album. Especially because after Jonghyun Minho has written or cowritten most of the lyrics in shinee. All the members really shine in there own way and it is fun to let off a little steam but in the end Shinee works because they are each other's biggest fans

We all know about Onew's vocal.. they're amazing and are most suited for ballad songs.. We all know Jjong and Teamin has created exceptional concepts and stages/performance to which there's no match ever.. We all know Key is so diverse..he has an aura around him..his artistic approach is unmatched... (BTW my favs from key's solo are Forever yours and I wanna be.. I recommend those to you)... BUT MinHo's vocals are amazing too..but always underrated.. because he has his image as rapper..... I'm home is the only single he has so far and he stole my heart with... I honestly want more ppl to recognise and appreciate his vocals and I want him to come up with more solo singles/albums.. but we all know how busy he is....(sigh)..

Key has many other solo songs, you should definitely check them out. Imagine is the only one he sang fully in English because he wanted his international fans to be able to sing along too. Other than that you can see the MVs of Key's other songs like Forever Yours, I wanna be, One of those nights in KZbin. Listen to the whole album FACE because every single song in there is a masterpiece!

Jonghyun had women back-up dancers for Hallelujah during his first solo album in 2015, which I remember because I watched the performances about a trillion times haha! They actually dance quite sensually and even touch him. I remember thinking that some “fans” must have been quite scandalized by it, it felt pretty out there at the time compared to what other artists were doing.

With 5HINEE you have a lot to discover Jonghyun was a tremendous composer and an extraordinary singer, Key is an incredible dancer but most of them don't notice it because of how great Teamin is, Minho has a beautiful voice but not valued by some who pigeonhole him as a rapper, Teamin He is daring and plays with the feminine and the masculine, breaking down stereotypes, he has mentioned many times that the influence of his members is important and Onew his voice is so angelic and powerful ... You are so right when you say that they are so different with their solo work, and when they come together the sound is so full bodied SHINee! Key’s Korean and Japanese albums are a must. His Korean album FACE is one of my favorites. Of course Jonghyun and Taemin have the most solo work. Their solo album names are related phonetically- ACE-BASE-FACE-VOICE. They may do solo work but they keep the link with their home- SHINee. Now Minho’s maybe Choice- we don’t know, but keeping my fingers crossed that we get his album this year. The rapper of the group that I want to listen sing ballads because of his amazing voice- Minho! Whoever in SM had the foresight to bring these talented boys/teens together as a group- can’t thank them enough.

If you want to experience Jonghyun is his most pure and raw self, you need to check out the lyric video for *End Of A Day.* This song is probably what Jonghyun wanted to give his fans but also what Jonghyun wanted to recieve from someone else. This is my favorite Jonghyun song and the song I listen to when I am having a hard day or just want to cry my feelings out. I highly recommend it.

Yes, Onew is shy and our Musical performer. Right now he is doing the Midnight Sun and is really good if you enjoy musicals. Key has alot of solo music out too so check more of his out. I hope Minho will put out at least another solo as well because he only has the 1 so far. And Taemin is Taemin lol everything is awesome. Yes, I think Jonghyun did a solo first. Actually Taemin was the first Shinee member to debut solo in 2014, and also the first SM artist from a group to debut solo. Jonghyun debuted as a solo months later in 2015. But of course Taemin had said many times that he's been influenced by his members and Michael Jackson. And of course Jonghyun was his best supporter and he even wrote songs for Taemin. Taemin debuted in November 2014 and Jonghyun in January 2015, he should have debuted first, but because his album was 95% written and composed by himself and we all know that SM didn't give him almost any help or promotion. he needed more time and work hard, rumors were that SM thought Jonghyun's style of songs was not very commercial, they trusted him because they knew he was very talented not only in voice but in writing and composition but still they didn't want to spend money on something that was too risky. Of course Jonghyun proved them wrong by earning lots of rewards with his self-written debut album, but Jonghyun was the first member to make a solo song debut in SHINee's first album in 2008. (Jonghyun's first solo "Hyeya (Y Si Fuera Ella) I can't really pick a favorite because they are all so diverse and depending on my mood I usually listen to different types of music but I can say that any of their songs is a masterpiece and I recommend listening to the B-sides they are amazing. I was sad that you chose a MV for Jonghyun and not a live , SHINee are known for their live performance and Jonghyun is no different kkk Thank you for your love to my boys

For Minho, you really should watch "Kiseki" - his solo stage at Tokyo Dome. It's a legend stage for Korean Kpop fan as a "memory manipulating" that make they all think he's their first love at high school😂 For Key, "One of those nights", "I wanna be" and the whole 1st repackaged album are masterpiece!!!! He'll release something this July, I'm so excited! For Jonghyun, all of his music are legend, and to be honest I love his B-side songs than his titles, they like poems. I will continue to suggest that you start with SHINee from their beginnings. Listening to their newest music shows how extremely talented that they have become now, BUT watching their growth and struggles as a group and individually will definitely give you more insight an perspective, and again you need to watch more of them being 5, with Jonghyun. I don’t know if you have seen shinee’s live concerts yet but they are amazing! I fell for Shinee the more I saw them live from what clips are on KZbin. The Tokyo concerts are out of this world, I definitely recommend if you have not seen those yet. I think you should also watch some getting to know Shinee videos, they’ve all done a lot individually so that would be a bit quicker than reading up on them! I’m glad more people are recognizing Shinee, I’m sorta a babywol too so I’m always happy to see new people!

Yay! Another SHINee reaction! It's lovely that you're branching out to other Kpop groups because there's a lot more to discover - and yes, you will get to appreciate more how SHINee are and continue to be trailblazers in the industry. They are indeed the Idols' Idols, as a lot of the newer artists really look up to our shining boys - EXO, NCT, Kang Daniel, Red Velvet, TXT and yes, even industry veterans like IU and BTS. *Onew* - He's a formidable force in musical theatre, and his performance in the play Shinheung Military Academy (during his enlistment) is completely different from his usual repertoire. Onew singing in his lower range is almost terrifying (and he *still* removes his earpiece!). He's currently starring in the Korean production of Midnight Sun and also features on the OST. *Taemin* - If I remember correctly, IDEA is actually a wordplay on 어디야 (oediya = where are you) which is why Taemin pronounces it that way. The female voice singing, "Killing me softly" is BoA, one of the most influential female Kpop artists of all time. She's a good friend, Noona and idol to our SHINee boys. *Minho* - is (criminally) underrated as a vocalist, and IMHO, it's more just a preference than lack of ability that he hasn't released more solo work. He has developed quite a range - he can sing as high as any of the other members, and hit the lower range when he sings in his true baritone. There are some clips in YT of his FM tour and him singing during his enlistment and you can hear the vocal strength and resonance which he rarely gets to use. (IMHO, his voice is actually more similar to Jonghyun's in terms of colour). *Key* - he's known as Almighty Key for a reason, and that includes being a polyglot. All SHINee boys can actually speak English but Key is the most fluent, which is why they leave Key to handle interviews in English. As for his solo work, I'd recommend "I Wanna Be" and "One of Those Nights." *Jonghyun* - "She Is" is actually a wordplay on "Oh Sh*t." Yep, Jonghyun and his clever puns circumventing censorship (some even say the song is about Key...). For more of his rather NSFW solos, I'd recommend Hallelujah and Moon.

Minho only sang half of the song "I'm home" here (they took out 1 verse and 1 rap verse I think)... Plz do watch his MV and lyrics... This was the song he released just before going to military (he sang it in all his solo fanmeeting venues in various parts of east asia - the fanmeeting tour he did just a few days before enlisting) - he said this was the song he wanted to leave shawols with and contains all he wanted to say to shawols before enlisting..... This song got flamers through his military service... And we like to joke that Minho said "I'm home" and went off to military for 2yrs leaving shawols alone at home... It hit us more when he sang "I'm home " after finishing his marine enlistment

The female vocals on Taemin’s IDEA are done by the legendary artist BoA. She’s his senior and one of the most respected performers and artists in the Kpop industry. She is Key’s favorite. He is such a fanboy of hers still and actually used to carry her albums around with him as well as being part of her fan cafe. Taemin has been in one of her videos and he performed with her several times for her song ‘Only One’, even reprising the dance last year for a celebration of her songs. Key has also guested on a song of hers. She is still active and serves as a creative director for SM entertainment. SM would not exist without BoA and her contributions to Kpop have earned her position as a legend of legends. At some point you might want to check her out; there is no one like her.

I'm not sure if you are into variety shows but if you are you should watch Hello Baby... The video quality is not that great since it was in 2009 but the show is really cute and funny. You should also watch their One Fine Day and Knowing brother episodes cuz you can get to know alot about them through OFD and KB is just crazy funny to watch😍

If you're just looking for some party time with SHINee, watch any of their concerts! It's a full on experience. Many have time markers where the various songs and talks are, so I tend to skip the talks when there's no subs. Luckily many have subs now. Just search SHINee World concerts on YT and they'll all come up. I recommend you NOT watch SW The Best 2018 - From Now On until later. This was their concert in Japan in very early 2018, right after they lost Jonghyun. There are some very fun parts, but it's also laden with sorrow, so not the best concert to start with. Taemin also has great solo concerts. His concert at Budokan is delightful, including probably his best stage of Sexuality.

"Idea" is the third part of Taemin's Never Gonna Dance Again album. It is part of a trilogy which started with his prologue "2 Kids," and continued with "Criminal" which is part of Act 1 of the album. "Idea" is part of Act 2 of the album and it brings the whole concept full circle. As Taemin said in an interview: "The two acts put together tell a story. '2 Kids’ is about growing pains and depicts the story prior to the story in the album. You can think of '2 Kids' as a teaser before the movie called 'Never Gonna Dance Again.' Act 1 shows a new side of me. I think it’ll be something you’ve never seen in K-pop before. And Act 2 is the end-all-be-all. It’s the ultimate level of intensity. Never Gonna Dance Again’ was originally the name of the concept. Because it doesn’t make sense for me to stop dancing. But I wanted to give a sense of rebellion with the irony of the title.” Taemin pronounces Idea the way you hear him saying it because he is pronouncing it like the Greek word idéa, and not like the English pronunciation. The song is based on the Greek philosopher Plato’s theory of Ideas. Plato believed that an "Idea" is an ultimate reality. Every form has an idea, an image, or standard set for it and Plato believed that these ideas were eternal. For example, when talking about a human, everyone has an image, and standard definition of what a human is which doesn't change according to Plato. In the song Teamin is disagreeing with Plato's theory and he is saying that the world is not ruled by one ultimate definition of something or that there isn't only one voice. Taemin is saying he has many voices and thoughts influencing him. If he were to conform to only one way of doing something -- i.e., if he listened to everyone who told him there was only one way to be a Kpop Idol and he needed to do everything the traditional cookiecutter way -- then that would be like killing his spirit and everything that makes him who he is. Hence the lines in the song that say "Killing me softly." Fun fact: The female voice you hear saying "Killing me softly" in "Idea" is BoA. She is a solo artist also under SM Entertainment, and she is Taemin's highly respected senior who debuted with SM in 2000 at the age of 13 and, now after more than 20 years, she is known as one of the senior-most members of the industry. BoA is legend. To see what kind of influence BoA has had on the industry and why it is so fitting that she was included on this song, check out her recent "202020" documentary which was created as part of her 20th anniversary celebrations. Some have said, and I have to agree, that "Idea" is a metaphor for the way Taemin sees his career. He loves what he does, almost to the point of obsession -- like "my messiah" he is drawn to it and can't help worship it -- he practically needs to dance and perform to survive. But, at the same time, it pretty much controls his life and living as an Idol means everything he does is done in the public eye and he will never be able to live a normal life -- his "dangerous dream" that is engulfing him and "swallowing him" up. The stress and constant demand for perfection he feels may be slowly "Killing me softly," etc. I particularly like the verse in "Idea" that says, "The blue light, When you and I face each other, Stained in it, All one's feelings, It's an infinite range, In my world, Most dazzling,The absolute value of you, My my IDEA." These lines seem to be talking about Taemin's fans. SHINee's fan color is pearl aqua blue, so the blue light you see in the MV and the blue light he talks about in the lyrics of "Idea," makes me think he is referring to the impact and influence the fans have had on everything he has done in his career. And although he loves and appreciates us, it has not come without a few sacrifices and negative aspects as well. The mutual love and respect between Taemin and the fans also has added a lot of extra pressure on him because he always wants to give people his absolute best and he is constantly trying to live up to an impossible standard of self-imposed flawlessness. So with every release from this album, the concept was designed to be darker than the last. In "2 Kids" he was emotionally and physically beating himself up with regrets and in "Criminal" he was living in a toxic relationship and being brainwashed to the point he was suffering from stockholm syndrome; he fell in love with the person/criminal (or thing -- i.e. his career) who is essentially inflicting all the pain and suffering on him. So, in other words, even though you are being abused by that person (possibly a metaphor for the pressure he is creating for himself as he pushes himself in his pursuit of perfection) he still can't help but love the criminal (i.e. his career) and allow them/it to continue to cause him to suffer, etc. :D "Idea" takes the theme one step further, and says that even though it was my idea and my plan to live this life, nothing comes without a price, and because of that self-inflicted need to be flawless, any chance of being average or living a regular life is pretty much dead. Taemin has sacrificed everything to become the magnificent and unique performer and person that we know him as today. What you need to watch is Minho's MV for "I'm Home" with the CC English lyrics so you get the full picture of what the song is about. The only thing the members of SHINee are bad at is lip syncing, LOL Seriously thought, that is the only thing. "She Is" is Jonghyun's title track on his second solo album from 2016. And just like SHINee, nothing he does will be like anything you have heard from him before. Jonghyun was such a magnificent singer/songwriter. His solo albums were all so colorful because it was 100% his voice and style -- he was the one that wrote and composed or co-composed the whole album every time. So his solo songs were where we got to hear his true thoughts and emotions and he could tell his story. He was truly brilliant when it came to music and that was why he was so highly respected by everyone in all aspects of the music industry. I truly believe that if he had had more time in this world, he would have eventually even made it into the U.S. music scene and he might have even wrote songs for western artists. As you know, live performances are what makes SHINee special. There is nothing like a live performance from SHINee. You should really check out a live performance of "She Is," you will be even more impressed when you see and hear him perform live. And SHINee never performs a song the same way twice, so audiences never get tired of seeing or hearing SHINee's songs because every performance is different. That is because they were created to be SM's experimental boy group, so they are always coming up with ways to be new, unique and groundbreaking. SHINee is the group that starts the trend and it's the rest of the industry that follows suit.

PLEASE, MORE SHINEE :') for reactions - you could actually start watching their title track music videos from their entire discography starting from Replay (2008) all the way till 2021. That would probably be the best start for you and you actually get to see the boys grow up before your very eyes. After that, ideally you could start on their solo stuff mixed in with live performance stages (i'm sure you have enough recommendations for live stages). And then you can do album listens because trust me, their entire albums are GOLD (for me, especially from 2012 onward) - every song could literally be a title track.

I really love all of shinee performances but if I have to recommend then please watchTaemin's Famous, Criminal, Criminal dance practice MV, Sayonara hitori, Drip Drop, Black Rose, Heaven. I really like Heaven. Shinee' interview on IU's Pallette . Their bond is something that is really lovable. They are just the best and best in everything.

I am sad that you would be reacting less to SHINee, I love your reaction to them since the first DCM video and I am always looking forward for any SHINee reaction in your channel. To really appreciate SHINee talent, watching their live performances are a must, this is where they shine the most. Any reaction from SHINee world IV concert will be greatly appreciate it specially: Sherlock, Danger, Everybody, Picasso and Replay. Also Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer together, Prism, Like a fire, Evil and View are amazing. When you have time watch their reality shows on your own, you get to see more of their lovely personalities.

Key's album Face is an underrated masterpiece. Every single song on it is amazing and it deserves so much more attention than it has gotten! It is honestly one of my favorite albums from any genre. All of his music is underrated IMO.... You definitely need to check out more of his music. I'd start with "One of Those Nights" and maybe a performance of "Good Good". I tend to like Jonghyun's B-sides more than his title tracks. Don't get me wrong, his songs are all amazing, but I just absolutely LOVE the other songs off of the She Is album (like "Moon" and "White T-Shirt"). But I do like the funky sound of "She Is". Fun fact, I've heard that the phrase "Oh she is" was purposefully chosen because it sounds similar to "oh sh*t", lol. This version of Taemin's "Idea" is the superior version for me; the orchestration in the background is phenomenal and so epic. I don't remember if you've heard the original version yet, which is still awesome, but when I heard the orchestrated version the first time my mind just 🤯. Onew was so freaking adorable during his performance of "Sign". He looked so cute and so shy too. It was the first time he'd ever performed this song! And it was also the first time performing since returning from the military too, so he was still getting used to being a celebrity again and was a little bit nervous. I absolutely love Minho's voice.... that deep sound is so sonorous and gorgeous but he just doesn't have enough opportunities to feature it IMO. I love "I'm Home". There is no word on when or even if he wants to release more solo songs; he is pretty focused on his acting career right now. Whether or not he releases more, at least we'll always have "I'm Home"! I hope you will continue to react to a lot of SHINee songs, even if you do live reactions instead or something that is less burdensome with editing, and I really hope you will check out all of their Weekly Idol and Knowing Bros episodes! You'll absolutely fall in love with how chaotic and naturally hilarious they are on variety shows.

They're adorable! Singing alone and as a group, they do very well. I'd like you to review Key's solo album, it's very good, I recommend it. As an aside, I have heard that Jonghyun's song 'She is' was not well received at the launch, as it has a different style, but for me, Jonghyun was always ahead of his time. Not everyone was ready for his ideas. He was great, I love it.

onew has an ongoing musical right now which you can watch online! it's so very...you get a sense of who lee jinki is in this musical AND onew's talent in acting as well. we dont even need to mention the singing because it's onew. you could also check out the two songs he officially released from the musical, which is on spotify or on youtube if you want to react to them because both songs are GORGEOUS
