Every time I hear this I think about the story behind this arrangement. I wonder if Elgar and Strauss ever continued their friendship after this? I'm certainly glad Elgar completed the arrangement, and even more grateful for this ensemble playing and sharing this magnificent piece!

Hi I'm Ari from Flutist Melody and I have a quick question for the flute section about my colored beginner's flute. What should I do about my colored flute having a slight bend in it.

I"m not in the the flute section, but it sounds like you need to get a real flute that is not colored or plastic. Try a metal one from a well-known flute manufacturer, and you could ask a local flute teacher in your area for advice about that.
