and contrary to others Bach believed you must have the whole music in your head before writing it down while most and today maybe all musicians sit for example on a piano and create along the way by playing and listening and experimenting. Bach didn't allow his sons to do that :D this really blows my mind...to create all this in your head....some of his stuff is 30min+

@Dirkovic809 жыл бұрын
+Lukas Floß xD .. do you make your statement out of your own experience? I mean do you play organ yourself? this question is not intended to be provocative if you guess so. The reason is instead, that i startet playing organ about 3 yrs ago. After i first listened to Bachs Passacaglia and especially the monumental final of the Fugue, i said to my sister: "when i will be able to play this Passacaglia one day, i would die happily." Spoken, i bought myself a midi-basspedal and an e-piano (both together for about 1k euro). Then i started practising very hard (when i had the time, because i actually was studying chemical engineering, which was allready pretty time consuming) and to my own surprise i could play the Passacaglia and the last 1 1/2 pages of the Fugue after 8 months or so, but i never thought, that it would be one of the hardest pieces written by the master Bach. Maybe i have to add, that i played allready piano back then when i was younger for about 7 years and unfortunately made break of about 10 years. I would appreciate it, if you would take your time to listen to my test-recording of the Passacaglia, which i uploaded on my channel (better the piano version and not the organ version, in the organ version i did plenty of mistakes :S). Even though i was enthousiastic after learning the Passacaglia i didnt start to learn the entire Fugue yet (because i prefer to play more piano literature) but soon i want to be capable of playing the whole BWV 582. I hope i will make it through it soon ^^

the crazy part of this piece is that he is playing on and original organ. usually the ones we have today, the keys are of equal weight. If you notice that he has three rows of keys. some of them are connected to the middle keyboard, which he is playing out of. The knobs to the side are telling the pipes how much air is going through them. so some of the keys would be harder to push down. the top and the bottom keyboards represent higher and lower notes. So when he plays on the center keys, other pipes open up to give a fuller sound. thus you would have to push down harder on that key. crazy!
@LS-oh8kv7 жыл бұрын
It's called a mechanical action organ. The keys within a keyboard (proper term is a manual) are all the same, and the middle couples to other keyboards by pulling a coupler lever. If you couple both manuals to the great (middle keyboard) the actuation force is roughly 3-4 pounds per key, but it's the same for all of the keys on the keyboard. The bottom keyboard is called the ruckpositive and the top is called the swell. The great is always the most powerful, usually followed by the swell and then the ruckpositive. No matter what you do with the stops and couplers, all the keys on a single keyboard will be the same weight as the rest, the only difference would be when one hand is on one manual and another is on a different manual. This organ reminds me of a Brombaugh organ which I play quite often, very nice instruments.

A conversation between different voices all repeating variations of the same, simple melodic theme. Usually you'd need separate people using words to express this dynamic, not just music alone. Fugues are amazing. There's nothing like them. God inspired.

This is an exceptional performance and do not drop the pedals. Some pianists are not accustomed to hearing music written on three staves. The second bass clef adds depth and is an integral part of the song. Thank you for the performance as I am currently learning this piece (for pipe organ). This video has helped me with some technical aspects of performance as I just started taking lessons a few months ago (I used to play piano/synth).

Lyrics: Man and machine and nothing there in between A flying circus and a man from Prussia The sky and a plane, this man commands his domain The western front and all the way to Russia Death from above, you're under fire Stained red as blood, he's roaming higher Born a soldier from the horseback to the skies That's where the legend will arise And he's flying Higher, the king of the sky He's flying too fast and he's flying too high Higher, an eye for an eye The legend will never die First to the scene he is a lethal machine It's bloody April and the tide is turning Fire at will it is the thrill of the kill Four in a day shot down with engines burning Embrace the fame, red squadron leader Call out his name, Rote Kampfflieger In the game to win, a gambler rolls the dice Eighty allies paid the price And he's flying Higher, the king of the sky He's flying too fast and he's flying too high Higher, an eye for an eye The legend will never die Higher Higher, the king of the sky He's flying too fast, again, he's flying too high He's flying higher, an eye for an eye The legend will never die Higher Born a soldier from the horseback to the skies And the legend never dies And he's flying And he's flying And he's flying Higher, the king of the sky He's flying too fast and he's flying too high Higher, an eye for an eye The legend will never die Higher, the king of the sky He's flying too fast and he's flying too high Higher, an eye for an eye The legend will never die

Certainly not to us, but it was to Bach. His inspired genius defies measure, much less comprehension, especially in counterpoint but no less in text inspiration, despite texts penned by others; he still had to ingeniously set the music to it, e.g. the great BWV 248 Weihnachtsoratorium. I've studied him for >50 years and his inspiration is so indescribable I almost feel like I know less than when I started! It's always hilarious to hear the so-called Bach "experts" make fools of themselves so easily (e.g. the phony "BWV 1096"), proving how vastly superior he was, though folk who quickly cow tow to "experts" sadly blindly commit the authoritarian logical fallacy.

So viel dazu. Da spart man Geld. Mal eben das 2000. Bild auf der SD Karte schießen. "Nickel(II)Chlorid-Hexahydrat-Unterhose". Juni 2017.
