‘Bachelorette’ Betrayal: Hannah Brown Dumps Jed Wyatt

It was a "Bachelorette" betrayal unlike any ever seen before. Hannah Brown thought she found her fairy man in contestant Jed Wyatt, accepting his proposal. But then Brown found out that he had been dating a girl up until the day he started the show. Her name is Haley Stevens and she's a country music artist. After finding out, Brown confronted Wyatt and broke up with him in a dramatic scene that played out on the show's finale Tuesday. It’s more so due to the fact that he never mentioned it. The fact that he never mentioned it after all that time and while proclaiming he “loves” her fuels his intentions, which was coming on the show for clout. Secondly, by not telling her, there clearly won’t be trust future wise between them if he was willing to act like the other girl didn’t exist, when she did.

I think that people watch this show and in a lot of cases lose perspective. Even if Jed was actively dating another woman (which he wasn't), but even if he had been, Hanna was actively dating 30 guys. It seems like a sense of entitlement and a serious double standard that Hanna would have the expectation of exclusivity from others that she herself is nowhere near providing.
