There's no way people in that age group could handle that hot, sweaty beach with no air conditioning. They'd be dropping like flies. The young ones can barely handle it, especially since they always shoot in the summer when it's the most humid. They probably get a cheaper rate because it's the off season in Mexico. I think something like a cruise ship or river boat excursion would be more appropriate if you don't want to kill off your contestants.

I had dinner with my daughter and son in law tonight and the topic of the evening was my love life. Apparently she is part of Bachelor Nation too. She has no idea that I also follow. It's my guilty pleasure. She asked if she could send my info in for the Golden series. My husband passed away in August of 2022 from pancreatic cancer. We were together for 37 years. I know a lot of people think that a year is sufficient for mourning. I'm no longer crying myself to sleep every night but I'm just not ready to think about dating. But, I am thankful for the Golden series. Once I am ready it gives me hope that maybe some handsome guy is looking for me! For now, I'll cheer Joan on!

The "Golden" formula simply works! Love seeing these individuals rediscover their ability to love again. Many have lost hope due to divorce or a death. It is magic, and much more meaningful than the regular format.

He is 57 (but they're trying to make him look old with the white beard!) and she is 61. As a 61-year-old single woman, I can tell you that good-looking, successful 57-year-old men are looking to meet women in their thirties or maybe early forties, and definitely not in their sixties!

Some of y’all might remember how I didn’t know what “ate” meant on the Wedding special video because I was super busy finishing my Master’s thesis. If anybody is interested, I have a life update: I gave a thesis defense that was well prepared, I felt confident with my delivery and several of my friends showed up just to support me. I graduated in May. Not only did I successfully apply for Disney college program, it was a fulfillment of my dream to return after my original internship at Disney ended early due to the pandemic. Dreams came true and I got to work at my favorite park, Magic Kingdom, it was amazing and I’ve many so many friends that I will take with me into the next chapter. It’s amazing to think that I both published a master’s thesis and got paid to watch 4th of July fireworks at Walt Disney World in the same year. Hopefully I can watch this season on Monday nights - I think it’s gonna be a good one!

I really tried to watch this. But I cannot support this franchise anymore. Too much plastic in the faces of these older women. As a 64, all natural human being, I am appalled by the male influence on these shows. Seems if we are over 50 the men in our age bracket only want the super young or maybe an old girl with plastic features. I am good being single!!
