Having said that, listening to his rambling, it sounds like he is halfway sort of dissing her for choosing Nayte. He sounds quiety, politely bitter. In her interview with Nayte, they explained that he did say that he loved her, but off of the camera, because he wanted it to between just the two of them. It was his first time every saying I love you to a woman, and he wanted it to be intimate and special, and not with 9 camera men and all of America watching. But yes, I agree that it might have been better is she didn't tell Brandon that she loved him. I think at that point she was still unsure of who she was going to go with.

Wow, my heart breaks for Brandon because he really, truly loved Michelle...He was just like a puppy always wagging his tail in excitement and jumping for joy when he was around Michelle. He wore his heart on his sleeve for her and her family was definitely hoping that Michelle would choose him. I can only imagine the hurt that he felt watching everything play out on screen and see how Nayte wasn't so emotional and was holding back his feelings. Michelle wanted Nayte from the minute he stepped out of the limosine but she wasn't always sure how he felt about her. You should listen to the interviews Michelle and Nayte have done since the show aired... Apparently, they have gotten REALLY good at communicating. It seems like Nayte was more reserved on the show because of going through a lot of feelings for the first time, there being multiple relationships going at the same time and the cameras, etc. Basically, he wasn't super comfortable in the shows unnatural environment, but they seem to be going strong...

@@maureencottrell5823 I agree, Thats why I’m questioning the timing; was it said because she felt she had to say something since Brandon is always dropping hallmark moments over there ; was she caught up in the moment; cause she never said it once to him; not even during the overnight, yet each time Nayte told her he’s falling ; she said it back; when he told her he’s in love; she said it back ; when he said he is crazy about her, she said it back ; but never once to Brandon until the final rose ; cause if we’re listening to Brandon clearly he said ; he was 100% all in from the get go; no hesitation, ready to marry yet she chose Nayte who she had to have the engagement conversation cause she was scared that maybe he wouldn’t be ready . Now if you’re in love with both men, the choice would have been easy for you, right ? You would go with the one that is ready since day one and told you he would put you first till his dying day ? It’s a win win situation since you’re in love with both of them. But she chose Nayte despite that it wasn’t easy for him express his emotions due to his upbringing but it’s clear he loves her, despite her parents wondering if he was ready; she chose Nayte why ? because neither of them were willing to live without each other. 100% agree. I don't think Michelle was in love of Brandon..she was thankful for his love. But if Nayte was the first last date, I think she won't say that or send Brandon home in the evening. After the family meeting who was proBrandon before even having met Nayte and the bad Nayte answer with family I think Michelle tought she should listen people and choose Brandon. But when you see all the Nayte and Michelle moments cut, it was obvious Michelle was more into Nayte. At the ATFR, I have the feelings that we have never seen Nayte so in love, why the edits or their love grows? I don't know but Brandon was never her first option and I m happy she didnt have to answer why Nayte and not him question. He has already be rejected one time, he didn t need more. As brandon said after, he wants someone.who choose him first and his person was not Michelle. I don't know why the edit is always so bad for the winner, Brian, Jordan, Nayte. They are not helping the relationship and 2 days after the end, people only want to know when the couple will break up. It is so unfair.

This is the very first time I have seen through the edit. Nayte was never being pushed, words just don't come naturally to him in that setting. Its interesting how the edit of Nayte changed towards the end. Initially, he was portrayed positively then it changed to favour Brandon which is not fair to the last couple. This was done with Rachel and Bryan. The producers need to do us a favour and edit it so we see multiple love stories instead of giving the winner a villain edit. Its just so unfair.

I feel that Brandon’s feelings for Michelle were true and he wanted to believe that Michelle would choose him. But Michelle I feel was physically attracted to Nayte and that blinded her decisions, even going as far as dismissing her parents thoughts on Nayte. And she had even stated that her mom could see through people’s true nature. Very sad. I don’t think they will last until next summer....sorry guys...

He wasn't ignored, Michelle kept him for emotional support. She knew what she wanted reguardless of the red flags Nyate was waving emotionally. She really wasn't ready for Brandon, he read her like a book(eyes).
