He is out of control. Red flags of shaking, refusal to get rejected is not a normal part of life. It’s a fantasy he has develop in his mind, to be infatuated with someone, wanting someone to lift him up. That’s like looking for a trophie, not a real healthy relationship. Her healthy dad and family saw issues that are real problems here. He’s not ready for a relationship. He should just have friends, to experience more out of life and do some self evaluation to rid his denial issue.

Chris Harrison spoke to Colton just like the way a friend would. Colton's dad later made similar comments and so did his mother. Colton has the right to pursue Cassie. Although it was hard, the other women are better off in the long run that he broke it off with them.

Those women both were lucky to not be the object of his affection as he is not well that is for sure and had deep and serious problems mentally that were and are not being addressed. Shame on the show for making this all seem ok somehow, now Cassie and her family are truly in a situation wherein they need to be extremely careful. As stated elsewhere I hope they have a security detail (The Bachelor should actually provide that since they created and encouraged him and are negligent or worse here) and hoping they all stay safe, and he gets help fast and that he can find peace.

The Bachelor should no longer entertain leading men who are under the age of 30. Men who can make holistic decisions, taking into consideration not only attraction and their hopes and dreams but who they are actually compatible with. This show is basically funding Colton running down Cassie and bullying/forcing her into being in a relationship with him. Yes, persistence is a beautiful quality and you should fight for who you love. But there must be some semblance of consideration on the other person's end. Cassie said that she loved him but she was not in love with him. She told him that he deserves someone who is insanely in love with him. She was basically saying that not only was she just not that into him but the kind of love she is seeking is one where she is insanely in love. She told him precisely what she wanted in that moment. She was not confused, she just didn't want to bear the guilt of hurting him. She felt the walls closing in when she realized that this man who she was not insanely in love with was about to propose to her. Colton doesn't get it, she didn't even want to date him because that would cut off her options. Colton heard what he wanted to hear.

It's the rejection. Being rejected and the thrill of the chase especially to a guy that has 30 women or competing with 30 guys. It's a real thing - he doesn't want to be rejected and that thought caused an obsession now that he has to overcome. This is literally a symptom of someone who has not dated enough. These two moments will be good for him if he can just mature realize them for what they are and move on - otherwise they will just end up being unhealthy obsessions.

The other 2 women were not the issue for Cassie. He’s making his refusal to believe her true feelings and introjecting his thoughts into hers. She said her mind that she wanted him to to find someone who is madly in love with him because she wasn’t and didn’t care if he finds someone else. Chris is really good with honesty and trying to bring him back to reality. Seeing red flags that he will want to control her for the rest of his life because he hasn’t dealt with his rejection issues since his parent’s divorce. He can play this nice guy, great guy thing which is a cover up for some deep issues. He needs to overcome that before getting into a relationship with another. Cassie isn’t too scared to say she loves him, he’s too scare to admit she doesn’t.

Personally I loved it when Colton told Chris that he was just done when they were walking. Anyone who's ever been to court to fight a traffic ticket knows enough about law that this would be a breach of contract. What if he would have really quit if this wasn't the ending that they wanted or allowed at least they would be suing him till the end of time.
