Back 4 Blood - Zombie Versus Gameplay: Crusher + Buster & Retch SOLO vs TEAM

Played a bit of solo Ridden (unintentionally, the game literally spawns you in a team and if there are NO other players, you're literally all alone in Versus, and this remains *even on teamswitch* meaning that if you play 1v4 as a zombie, you'll play 4 zombies versus yourself as a cleaner which is absolutely palpably ridicilous 😅). Make sure to watch the end of the second segment, got some interesting solo work going on as a Retch (basically a Boomer) starting from 9:10 Feel free to discuss in the comments about your experience if you played the Beta, what you think of it, and if it's an improvement over the L4D-series 💬

Doesnt really allow for much strat does it. In l4d2 the si were built in a way that opens the door for many clever plays and combos. In b4b it looks like playing as the ridden is just a matter of chipping away at the cleaners' health with brute force rather than any strats. I could be wrong

Nah, the Beta really feels that way. I haven't felt like pre-purchasing the release version (yet), I'm looking how it's faring after reviews *first* before going in. For me though, perhaps the biggest problem was that the whole upgrading system of the weapons was too complicated and needs streamlining in a way that the upgrades make actual sense. Finally, the movement feels too lodgy. Might be in part because of the thirdperson view, but I didn't like it. The thirdperson view really needs to go.
