Hey Wayne, definitely can't complain about a session like that, in the colder months, only going to get colder... hopefully I can keep the videos going right through winter 🎣 Very happy to land a new PB Trev, they usually always get the better of me, I must be getting better at fishing... hahaha

Yeah I tried to cut out all the casts with no fish basically, I thought in this one, I would try to put all the catches in, as I skipped a few in the previous video and both days were awesome... Haha that's awesome bro, hope they all enjoyed it 👍

I have not done much winter saltwater fishing and surprised to see the flathead pretty lifeless. The cold water must really limit their activity. Nice one giving the fish away 👍

Yeah in winter, I find most species get a bit docile... apart from the pelagics and the jewies will still give a decent go, I have had Bream still fight hard as well actually... Hahaha They were really nice and happy to share the spot, they didn't get much on bait, so I was happy to donate, otherwise I would have just sent them back swimming in all honesty... Cheers mate 👍

This time of the year flatties push up into the system from what I hear, if you get a chance try the Towomba river, near hazelnut drive... They should be sitting on the sand flats there, just looking at the depth chart etc, best of luck mate PS looks like you can possibly drive right to the water there 👍

@@bushfishncook2128 That is too funny, just went over there yesterday morning for a couple hours. Yeah, you can drive right down to the water, but didn't get a bite while I was there, but in saying that, the water was heading out and very low. That is the spot where I caught the 40cm Bream during the summer. I'll get over there again real soon, but as the water is heading in. Cheers!

@@LarrysFishing what a coincidence hahaha that's crazy you have just been there, in all honesty I find bait fishing for them more tough... The two people next to me only got 2, the whole time I was there making this video... If you try soft plastics use a 1/6 jig head in that spot, cast as far as you can and just double hop then pause all the way back in, fan the casts out to cover more ground, maybe take a bait rod and a lure rod. I reckon some Berkley sandworm soft plastic, would be good l, doing me very well at the moment.

Just got home now long ago, I think it was the almost full moon more than the wind, still managed a couple of nice bream though 👍 It will be part of a video in the future, something like "I fished this urban canal for 3 nights" Still hoping the mystery fish, shows up on the last night...
