I feel like the energy is totally off. I have only seen Theo with the fun vibe before, but there is something very wrong and toxic here. I believe Theo bombeb hard at Paris, because he let his imagination run wild how the audience would be fashion bloggers ready to judge him beforehand and that ruined his flowstate. In reality the audience were most likely comedy fans, emphatic and give him the biggest applauds and cheers of the night, even when the set was a total bomb. What a amazing learning experience and moment of humanity and unconditional love. I hope Theo takes this lesson in, quit addictions and thought patterns that ruins his mood, because real hatred and actual complaying is boring and insufferable to listen to. I really hoped to see here how grateful he was for the Paris experience and what he had learned from it with the usual humility he has, but this stuff is just unlistenable for the first time ever.

@@nikohummel379 Honestly I just got surprised that Theo actually reacted so negatively to something as natural as being shy and stifled before a large audience of strangers in a big strange country. Nothing to be ashamed or bitter about. Everyone does it. Sometimes our ego does into these weird self-defense modes when we fear that we are being judged by others in these high pressure situations. I'm sure he already looks back at that experience and his reaction to it in this podcast as a beneficial learning experience on his journey. Its all good.

Hi Theo ! I'm french and I really love your stuff ! It's funny because I've noticed that people from outside of France have the same view of french people as french people have about people from Paris : smug, full of themselves, who like to make you feel small with their fanciness... There's a big disconnect between Paris and the rest of France and when you go there as a frenchman and you come back home, the first thing people will ask you is "People were rude, right?", so I get why you don't like us. But not everyone in France is a pretentious asshole and I hope you can one day have a nice experience here with cool down to earth people !

Damn, this episode got me in my feelings. My dad passed last May the day after he got his prosthetic leg and finished his last radiation treatment. We were EXTREMELY close. We worked together, I took him to his appointments. We did our grocery shopping together. The one thing I miss the most is going to the hardware store and auto parts store. Now I just get angry when I go to those places and see older men walking around. I don't like that I feel that way but I can't help it. Anyway, y'all have a great rest of the week and God bless.

Speaking to the anger and forgiveness bit, I read a quote yesterday that hit deep: “Stop telling people they are hanging on to their anger by not forgiving when their anger is the only honest part of the situation”. Shoo.

My dad had me at 42, it's different when your dad is the oldest dad and came from a different era, like your own. He was born in 42 and will be 81 this year, honestly only reason I'm still alive, he's all the family I've ever had and who didn't hurt and abandon me, he's no angel, but never gave up on himself getting better or me. I'm sorry about your dad and I hope you have beautiful memories. Family is...so...important, friends, anything. I'd give all my limbs to have family and love, it changes you for the worse without it, especially being devoid of it as a child and all you want is a family of your own and you finally get it and it gets ripped from you tragically. All love friend.

Theo, when you were in survival mode, which I’m guessing was much of your childhood, you weren’t able to reach self-actualization, the top of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs pyramid…and that is TOTALLY NORMAL. You can’t learn about yourself until you have made it up that pyramid. That’s when you are able to finally have those realizations about yourself that Louie helped you have. Many of us are late bloomers because we spent our childhoods either surviving or being shell-shocked from childhood trauma, so you are not alone. We are one, the collective consciousness, experiencing things separate but together. ❤
