BACK IN BENIDORM - 3 STAR HOTEL POSEIDON RESORT

I have stayed there before but it was about 30 years ago I don't have any complaints very nice place as I remember. I have also stayed at the other one in the group the Poseidon Playa which over looks the Poniente beach nice place and in a much quieter part of the resort but you can easy jump in a taxi if you want the karaoke bars and bingo but if you don't want noise late at night the Poseidon Playa Hotel is the one for you and the beach is just across the road.

Happy New Year Paul. You brought back some memories with this one. I first stayed at the 3 star Poseidon way back in the 70's. It was good then and it still looks good. I'm surprised that it still only has three stars. It's incredible value for money and a good location. Looking forward to your next video. 😀👍

Stayed there three times in last twelve months...always in Winter. I found it modern and clean and the staff were helpful. I loved my early evening swims in the indoor pool which were so refreshing. I did not pay for board because I wanted a morning walk to the beach side cafes for breakfast and I would stroll down "the strip" in the evening for a cheap and cheerful meal. I did buy a breakfast there once because my coach to the airport was arriving at an early time. It was fine but like the guy says it was nothing special but it will do at a pinch. I did like the bar in the evening where the Spanish residents were happy to line dance till closing. I did stay in the other hotel (Palace) once and it wasn't quite as modern and the wifi was not as strong as the Resort side. Overall I feel comfortable there and will always choose it if the price is within my budget.

My late mam & dad stayed in the Hotel Poseidon on their first holiday abroad in 1973.. Thankfully they loved the whole adventure and me & my sister were fortunate enough to enjoy several foreign holidays because of that experience. Mrs C in Durham ❤ x

I regularly stay at the Poseidon when looking for a cheapish week. The location is great for me being at the end of the strip and near the old town. The hotel is mostly Spanish Pensioners but who cares makes it a bit quieter.

Stayed there November 2024 loved the cleaners and friendly staff . Like you not impressed with brekkie but found a restaurant on sea front that did the best brekkie and British bacon . we loved Benidorm and The Posidon . Great review Happy 2025🎉🎉

Very nice, I love the pools! Great Balcony. Nice clean room & great bathroom. Really nice of them to do you a bag of food! City view not bad. Breakfast looked ok, what a choice!! I agree the cooked side was minimal but I would be quite happy with the cooked, maybe not the sausage tho lol I'm more of a bacon girl anyway. English channels & good internet is a bonus. The price is just AMAZING!!! Thanks Paul!

Great to see what is offered at the variety of hotels you visit in Benidorm Paul. I am due to arrive on the evening of the 22 January and doubt my hotel (Sol Pelicanos) will provide a goodie bag as I'm sure the restaurant will have closed by the time I arrive (I am all inclusive). The full board issue has always been problematic. The Sol Pelicanos has check in at 4pm but the restaurant closes at 3pm, so whilst you should receive lunch on the day of arrival, your check-in is after the restaurant closes (often your departure is before lunch, so you cannot have lunch then, although you are only entitled to breakfast on your final day). Have raised this with the hotel but they have not bothered to respond - like you, I can either take or leave missing a meal.

Good review ( as ever) Paul. I stayed at the Hotel Poseidon in 1978 ! Can’t really say has it changed cos I can’t remember. It was however the holiday that I met my now wife of 45 years !! Maybe that’s why I can’t remember the hotel !! Loved Beni ever since and off to the Hotel Bristol next month for 3 weeks !

I stayed in the Posiedon Palace in 2011 and can say rooms are very clean, balcony overlooking the pool area, food was plentiful but I agree about the sausages etc didn't like them at all, staff were very friendly, we went half board as well but spent most of our time eating out but that was more due to us having my young 3 years old grandson at the time with us and he mostly ate KFC 😂😂, coach originally dropped us off at the Posiedon were staff sent us through to the Palace. Air con worked, can't fault this hotel at all.

Brilliant quality vlog Paul. Beautiful hotel a lovely room/ensuite done tastefully. A city view at night is always atmospheric. I found the tips for keeping the cost down and the mobility info excellent, the price was incredible given the high standard and facilities, loads for a family. An awesome start to 2025 for WKW, made up for you, though it's no surprise! All the best 😊

Stayed there nearly 10 years ago in 2015, it was ok but I felt there catered more for spanish tourists all the entertainment was in spanish .we went all inclusive and was being charged for drinks etc when it should been free . Never went for breakfast it was horrid I'm guessing it's changed since then
