I thought this game would be good but wow the remake is a masterpiece. Should be a game of the year candidate. Hope this is the beginning of a turnaround for the Silent Hill series. Resident Evil + Silent Hill making masterpieces at the same time again truly a great time to be alive.

This game, I mean the OG, means so much for me on an emotional level, and when I listened to the remake voice performance of the very first scene, the letter, and then James, I legit teared up, I felt that this game was made with love and respect for an all time absolute classic, that just fills my heart immeasurably, I feel grateful, both for Bloober Team's work, and for your playthrough 😊

Idk who kept telling her that something was in the trunk. It was the backseat in the OG game, it's the backseat in the remake, you can actually see it though the window if you look very closely but you might have to turn raytracing on

Im over the moon about tge remake been playing it today, big Silent hill fan i loved the original silent hill 2 back in 2001! This remake is truly a masterpiece and 23 years tears later we got to relive this all again in an amazing remake its absolutely beautiful, i remember whrn i first played SH2 back in 2001 on the PS2 when i beat it for the 1st time back then and crying hiw emotional the story is its such a beautiful gem this game. i see that town silent hill in 2024.♥️🫂🌟😎

The reason why Silent Hill 2 it became a classic is because eventually people began to see how unique, eerie, melancholic and authentic the game's atmosphere it really is, and took the time to enjoy its deeply thoughtful narrative and symbolism. To this day it’s by far one of, if not the most mature examination of grief, sexual trauma, suicide, and morality all combined. It’s an intelligent game that does not hold anyone’s hand and comes at the player with utmost confidence in itself. It’s fantastic stuff. The rest of the original 4 are great in their own right and have their own well written stories, but they don’t hold the same emotional weight to them. I think SH2’s maturity by comparison is something that a lot of people are drawn to. ☯️

Playing at night, lights off with HEADSET ON (I use pulse 3d on ps5) and i couldn't do it. I rarely get scared but I could not proceed. I turned it off after 40 minutes lol. Amazing.

I get why people didn't like this game before it came out its cus it was being made by Bloober Team And Bloober Team aren't very good they are hit or miss they are good in some areas of making games like run and hide in horror games but not good a combat So when people saw the stiff combat in the Silent Hill 2 Remake trailer it made people more worried cus it confirmed what they believe about Bloober Team People were saying why couldn't Konami make the game in house like the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake But now people are happily surprised that Bloober Team actually made it a good game and I'm really happy cus Metal Gear Solid Delta is what I want the most Cus it's my favourite franchise and if Bloober Team can make a good Silent Hill 2 I can't wait for how good Metal Gear Solid Delta made in house will be

I'm so glad Bloober proofed all haters wrong. They have always been fine at gameplay mechanics, have fantastic visuals but completely suck at storytelling. I was always convinced that forcing a great story on them is the best thing that could have happened to Silent Hill and it seems like they respected this masterpiece enough, not to inject too many creative liberties. ...except the redesign of some of the main characters maybe. James looks like a polish soap opera C-class actor now but I guess I'll get used to it.

This game is better than expected. On a side note: I wish you would use die Deutsche Sprache every now and then. In my opinion, the best thing about you is that you're a German hehe. A few years back, i took German courses and it's very satisfying when i encounter sentences and expressions that i understand on my own.
