Great stuff. I have a 23 Himmy but iv never taken it proper off road. Don't bounce as well as I did 30 years ago.

Thanks for the watch and comment! I also don't bounce very well...and have come off a fair bit, more so on my Beta! Ride safe!

Although it's nice to ride in the warm there's the downsides of vegetation in the face combined with ruts hidden in the long grass! Well done on keeping her upright 👍

Thanks for the watch, and comment 👍 Yes, riding in the warm is great - but has it's downsides like riding in the wet. The weight compared to the Beta caught me off guard!

How is the stock rear suspension? Is it pretty harsh?
@almostenduro2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the watch and comment. The rear suspension is actually ok and does a good job all round considering on road and off. When you're stood up off road, it feels slightly better as your legs/knees are soaking up some of the bumps as well. A small criticism is that it can feel a little severe on some bad road surfaces. I spent two hours on the bike, on road recently and towards the end of my ride some of the unavoidably pot holes/road cracks were getting a little tiring. That being said, I am still under 500 hundred miles, so wold expect both rear and front to soften a little. I have also not done any setup or even adjust tyre pressures etc. I hope that helps, ride safe!

There,s no getting round it ,,the Himalayan is a pig offroad...
@almostenduro23 күн бұрын
Interesting to hear, as that has not been my experience at all, I quite enjoy riding it off road. With more off road focused tyres, correct PSI and a clear understanding of limitations, both of the bike and myself, I'd head off road at every opportunity. Thanks again for the watch and comment 👍

@@almostenduro Well you are a young lad ad I,m 68,,the Him is not a light bike,,,another thing I run a 16t front sprocket which makes trickling along rutted tracks a nervous experience,,but I,m glad you enjoy..

@@lipsee100 Well - younger! I hope I am still throwing a leg over a bike when I am 68! I see you point about the front sprocket! Thanks again for the comment and the watch!
