They don’t show every single hole as it’s happening. This is most likely a replay of what has already happened. Or it’s cause golf is a sport where the commentators aren’t gonna be screaming and so insanely excited for it. It’s also a par 3 course so yes it’s hard to get a hole in 1 but it happens probably a few times every tournament

Some of the best guys (present) have never made one on tour and these guys hold trophies. So please don't sit here and try to downplay a hole in one. It's a terrible take .

I believe the pin placement on this hole funnels everything right towards the cup. I'm not saying it's not impressive, but I think there were back to back hole in ones on this same hole, with the same pin placement a couple years ago.

There’s something about Augusta National, magical moments happen every year at this beautiful place. A few years back, and in the same group during the par 3 tournament, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler both aced the 4th hole, and Jordan Spieth then had to try for the 3rd ace, hit it to 10 feet, and in a friendly way, was booed. I remember two time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw describing The Masters as “A celebration of golf”! That is true in every sense of the word!

Guy at my golf club about 15 years ago made a hole in 1 on the par 4 10th *355 yards then another on par 3 15th of around 175 yards. Unsure if two back to back on a pitch and putt is better.
