Having built and finished a few partscasters, this is pushing me closer to taking the plunge with a build from scratch. It's lovely how simple you make everything, thanks for making these.

I love everything about this. Personally with the sunburst paint job I would have gone with a tortoise shell pick guard. But that’s 100% subjective on my part. Thanks for your videos. Excellent work.

You make a pain in the butt thing like gluing templates together look like fun. Very clean job there Patrick.

I’ve learnt a ton from you over the years, Patrick, but I still haven’t mastered the one handed masking tape rip 😂

The Telecaster, maybe more than any other Fender, shows Leo’s genius for simplicity, precision, ease of manufacture, and just living with a guitar. Still the most versatile guitar ever produced.

It would almost be a shame to paint it Patrick. That pine looks really good.

I've noticed that you hand drill the holes for the neck screws. I did that once, and they were all on slightly different angles, causing me some stress when lining up the neck for drilling. Since that time I always use a drill press to square these holes with the body face. Have you ever had issues with crooked screws?

if only use pine for liek wings perhaps, run a 5" block down the center, good hardwood... the way pine moves so much you'll be tuning every song

Where do people buy the tele’s hardware from?

Technically, it’s not a time lapse. Time lapses have missing frames
