idea: give players of the same team a coloured leather armor to start with. Such a cool minigame!!

Good idea. Unfortunately leather armour can’t be dyed in beta Minecraft. However each type of armour provides the same protection, the only difference between them is their durability.

With how fast paced the game is, it feels like it should dispense arrows and food instead. Maybe iron ingots so you can risk crafting armor instead of arrows? Not sure how strong iron armor is in beta. Feels like there's a lot of potential in many different arenas too, we need de_dust2!

The problem with dispensing arrows is that they just shoot into the wall, droppers don’t exist yet, and as soon as new arrows are shot the old ones often despawn, not sure how fast they do but it feels like it’s quick. Armour in beta has the same level of resistance, it’s the durability that is different between sets, but I think it could be cool to have team games where people wear different helmets. Food may be a good idea though as a rare item drop for someone like me.

I think the arena needs to drop bread(in danger zone lije river) sometimes after figth start to make the fights last longer.
