Good deal Alex hope u had a good time off con la famila! Quick ? Alex I’ve noticed in the past when you are park and to do your reset hours. And you are driving some where are you log in as in personal time or what are you on the log of motive drive ??
@Mr.AlexKogan2 ай бұрын
When I’m on my reset I log out of the eld. The truck still counts the miles but I claim it later as personal conveyance.

Whats your rule as far as how fast you drive with a load? & why the twist in your straps? Its awesome to watch you💪🏻
@Mr.AlexKogan2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I usually drive speed limit. Maybe 5pm over sometimes. Just depends on the conditions. Sometimes slower if it’s raining. Twisting the straps prevents them from vibrating from the wind.

Why the half twist in the straps?
@mikekelley86123 ай бұрын
I've been curious about his as well
@Mr.AlexKogan3 ай бұрын
So they don’t vibrate in the wind. If you ever see tall loads on trucks, pay attention to the ones that have the straps flat. You will see they vibrate. That can loosen them.
@tg93883 ай бұрын
Looks like you had some great loads this week. Congrats I’m just curious how many miles are you at on the truck . Have you done any aftermarket upgrades to the truck recently or are you thinking about doing anything?

@@Mr.AlexKogan i’m seriously thinking about trading in my 22 L5 P and getting around, but I keep hearing from people having issues with some kind of bolt with the grid heater either wearing and off and causing major engine damage so I wasn’t sure if you already had that thing addressed or if you had any issues so far
@Mr.AlexKogan3 ай бұрын
@@tg9388 Banks makes a part to replace that if you are worried about it. I’ve never heard of anyone having that old break. I only heard about it when I was checking out Banks performance parts.
@tg93883 ай бұрын
@@Mr.AlexKogan yeah I’m still doing my research and trying to learn a little bit. Maybe it’s for the Cummins motors for certain years but also very high mileage is when it happens cause I know for the Duramax we have a Dowl pin that seems to be breaking off and causing some issues as well, but I don’t think there’s any fix for that other than pulling your entire motor out and replacing that part of thecamshaft which I can only imagine how much money that cost
@Mr.AlexKogan3 ай бұрын
@@tg9388 I think these issues might have a bigger chance of happening at higher mileage.

I meant to ask. How do you like your PJ trailer? It seems to make you great money, and they all break eventually. I am looking to go up in size and wondering your likes, dislikes.. air ride worth it? Also, I tried to connect on that other app but couldn’t send you anything. When you’re up in this area let me know. I can let you know of some very decent runs from New England.
@Mr.AlexKogan2 ай бұрын
PJ trailers are nice. I like mine. Really not much bad to say about it. Air ride is definitely worth it. For me at least. The only thing ai wish they did was put more screws to secure the wood down.
@AcadiaHaulers2 ай бұрын
@@Mr.AlexKogan thank you. That seems like an issue with a lot of owners. The general issue is the decking. I found a couple of nice units at nationwide. Just have to make the jump now and go up in size.
