Thai doctor is amazing and it's expensive cuz that hospital is not goverment's hospital. Thai's teenage have an accident on their motorbike all the time so the doctor have intensive exp. with it and likely to fix you up if nothing serious.

Sadly Mickey our son also had a bike accident in Koh Samui. And he happened to be taken to the very hospital you were in. Your video at the hospital bought a flood of memories back to my wife and I. We stayed with him for 11days in ICU before we repatriated him back home. During that time with him we witnessed others come into the ICU ward and most were bike accidents. We're glad your still here to visit where your worst days were treated. Thankyou Mickey for sharing your story. Stay Safe 🙏

I don't know you, but watching your content, I always got a feeling you had some kind of experience in life that probably made you see things and people differently. Glad to know you made it through a horrible accident and you're still here to share the adventures. In good health 🙏🏼 Unlike the common idea that Russians are cold, having lived in 6 countries, I think Russians are some of the toughest - but once you get to know them better - the NICEST and most loyal. Most of my closest friends are Russian, including my best friend. Keep going and creating Mickey. This experience is probably a blessing in disguise. Such experiences show who really matter and what really matter in life isn't it. I can relate, had a near death experience in Saint Petersburg ( my first trip there in my first day hehe). Excellent vibes, and somehow, this post inspires me to do more. The best in the times ahead 🙏🏼Cheers

This is very touching and it isn't easy to go back to a time of difficulty and share it with all of us. But you said it, your accident made you the man you are now. Enjoy Samui and don't think to the past anymore. On Chaweng there's one small resort just in front of the small island, it's OP bungalows. It's nothing luxurious, but clean and with a beautiful garden and nIce restaurant on the beach. A lot of people go there for a longer stay on the island. Love Samui and hope I will be back in September and I can't wait to see Bangkok again! Who knows? Maybe I will recognize you in some market!

Lucky you went to the Bangkok hospital- yes very expensive but the care was exceptional. That day I drove past the Bangkok hospital earlier that day and remembered it, later on, the ambulance was taking me to another hospital and I stopped them and said I want to go to the Bangkok Hospital. . I severed the entire tendon on the back of my leg- so the whole leg couldn't move. 4-hour surgery and 2 months in bed. But, now I can also jump, climb and run thanks to the fantastic doctors. Must deliver flowers to them next time I am on the island.

Utmost respect ! It takes a lot of courage to revisit the exact spot where you met with your rather unfortunate destiny on the day the accident. It takes courage and humility to reflect and discuss about it the way you did. I could see from time to time you tried to hold back the tears *if I aint mistaken* that is. At times we experience certain things so we could appreciate and cherish what we have even better, and in your case you did just that. About the freinds that could not help you out, don't hold a grudge against them, may be they had issues of their own to deal with, just think of it as a nice lesson learnt the difficult way, hope someday we can hook up in Bkk for a drink 🙌🙌
