I was in Koh Samui in July , stayed at the noraburi spa and resort. This place is amazing , the beaches the food , the amazing hospitality . I would definitely love to go back there❤️

@@Unplugged704 Hi. We didn't make it to Koh Samui. We had to change our plans because there was a big storm in Danang, so we cancelled our trip from Phu Quoc to Danang then Danang to Koh Samui. But we did take a 4 day trip to Phuket. It was fun but it rained almost everyday while we were there. Yes, it was pretty safe taking tuktuk or taxi to places...and safe walking around the city as well.

June/July/August is the best period to visit Koh Samui, as it is not the monsoon season for the island (including Koh Pha-Ngan, Koh Tao). It has less rain than the west coast during this period (The west coast is known as The Andaman sea: Phuket, Krabi, Phang Nga etc.) The best period for the Andaman sea is February-March. The dry season for the Andaman sea starts after Mid October/ November until March/April. While on Koh Samui or the east coast in the south of Thai Gulf starts monsoon period (Late Nov-Jan-Feb-beginning of March and sometimes continuously until May). The rain in the south of Thailand from both east and west coastal lines, or on islands tend to fall either very little or super heavy, but it does not stay for long. It comes and goes quickly, unless there’s a storm/monsoon passing by the region.
