FIRST YEAR TEACHER! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I greatly enjoyed this. I am actually teaching multiple subjects to the same students, so I am using the data based portion of your notebook in their class binder since it applies across the board. And we don't have SMAs here (plus I'm in a private school anyway), but I love the idea of putting that in their binder as a unit reflections on ALL their subjects. At the end of each unit or quarter, they fill out a similar sheet where they define the unit and standards they should have learned, their previous expectation, and their future goals. This was awesome. Thank you! I shall definitely use the book reflection and presentation portion of your notebook in my English specific INB.

You were fun to watch! Thanks for sharing. I started my first ever "interactive" journal today. Here goes! I will surely keep your ideas for data collection/reflection in mind as things develop. Have a great school year!

Thanks a lot for your video! I had never thought of the zengtangle doodleing and I am definitely going to imement it as a stress reliever for my students. Could you please send a link to the patterns you recommend for beginners? Again, thanks a million and all the best to you, wonderful and commited teacher!

Do you have a TPT store? I really like how you collect data and make the students responsible for their own learning. Where can I get that?

Hi! Ok, So I do have a store, but... it's pretty much empty. I never put anything in there. Everything I make is super easy. I created that chart in Word. Inbox me your email. I'll send it to you.

You said you have the students buy a 5 subject notebook. What goes in the other two sections? Thanks!

+Elizabeth Corbit 1 & 2 Notes & Classwork 3 & 4 Articles of the Week 5 Reading Reflections We typically need more space for the first two categories, so I allotted them two sections. For our reading reflections, we use only one section. The students are writing one response letter a week and it's never more than a page. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Hi! Out of curiosity, how do you videotape yourself for your KZbin videos? Also is your school actually called Small World University?
