I agree 💯 about liking something regardless if it's still trending with microtrends or whichever fashion train is running at the moment. Everyone has a personal fashion taste and fashion trends are always changing, so choose something you're comfortable with and don't worry about what others think because most of the time they're just blindly following something and have no fashion-sense of their own. 😊👍✨

same ! i think it's so much more important to just find your own style and wear clothes you personally like, no matter the current fashion. following trends can be really bad for your bank account and the environment, and it just means your clothes aren't a real representation of you! of course if you like a trend, wear it, but we don't have to keep up with every season's looks

Honestly I’m sooo grateful that you didn’t do a gigantic haul. I come from a not very wealthy family (well, we’re wealthy compared to second and third world countries and even lower classes, we just don’t have much extra money), and it’s always so intimidating to see how much others can buy. For the longest time I remember feeling bad that I couldn’t afford a mild liner in every single colour or a hundred different pencils and erasers and washi tape.

@@alice24 they shouldn’t. For normal lined paper you can touch it as soon as you’re done writing and it won’t smear. But for super smooth paper in planners and such, you should wait a second but they still dry super quickly

Heyyy I know I'm commenting VERY late but tbh, as someone who is going to start my igcse/year 10&11 2 years journey in 9 days (this is uk system so to us system its technically high school, but in the same school i did my entire middle school too), your videos helped me a lot. I know people don't HAVE to take aesthetic notes to study well but i'm a visual learner and love colours and aesthetics as they motivate me to study. and your videos are so relatable and the little psych talk in between the videos helped me a lot and your tips and guides are exactly what i needed. So i just wanted to say, thank you so much for uploading these videos and since i'm in online class for probably until the end of the year in my country, you sharing your struggles which are ACTUALLY true compared to most of the studytubers. There’s this three week period before school where I give up on lazy potato and I plan, organise, prepare, start socialising with friends again, etc: Third week before school- planning, making a list of stuff I need and shopping and telling myself I’m being organised Second week before school- Starting to slowly realise that I’m not going to have a perfect, ✨aesthetic✨ Year but ignoring it and trying to find some maths to do to feel productive Last week before school- reluctantly socialising with friends so I’m not estranged when I come back to school. Practicing note-taking so it’s actually possible to read and fixing my sleep schedule.
