I like how she was still able to make a room that worked for her and she didn’t spend a ton of money to buy new furniture she still kept a lot of what she had and she included some new things like the arm chair and the cart but she made it more functional and it works for her and I really like that because a lot of times in especially Pinterest rooms and KZbin rooms and it just makes me wonder like what could you have done to your own which is a place we spend a lot of time and she just redid her room in a way that works for her which I think teaches people will be good lesson that you have to take practicality over aesthetic looking things

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you put some stones on the bottom of the pot, when you replanted it! It really helps with drainage so your plants roots do not become soggy and rot. Please do that the next time you repot a plant because it may save your plants life!
@izzyindendi79164 жыл бұрын
ooo i know this wasn’t meant for me but this is useful wow thank you
@hanalubin16044 жыл бұрын
Actually it’s better not to rocks on the bottom as it doesn’t really do anything for drainage and can block oxygen flow from the drainage hole but if you want to weigh your plant down so the wind doesn’t knock it down do it
@hanalubin16044 жыл бұрын
Also organic material like compost and perlite are rlly good for well draining soil!!

@@hanalubin1604 Isn't it better to do it for cactus though ? I'm asking because I should repot mine and I hear that putting little rocks in the soil (is that the right word ? 😭) is better for them but idk :(

Oh gosh, at 6:57 you unlocked a memory for me. I used to despise those AP History class DBQ's. We used to do them almost every day of the last 4 months of my junior year. I had two classes that did them at once. *goosebump shivers.* I'm entering my 3rd year of college so I've completely forgotten about those.

to separate the space further, you could add a gauzy semi-sheer curtain on a tension rod going across the room, behind the bookcases! then the constellation poster could go in the wall behind your bed.

I like how you know you aren't that organized but still create a space that's functional. I'm productive but my creativity tends to lean on to a messy part. I try to declutter a lot of things and pursue minimalism with my mind set that I prefer a productive space then aesthetic.

if you are interested in making the space a little easier to maneuver in, i suggest rearranging the book shelves to create an L-shape rather than the straight wall they currently create. this will still allow the division of space you desire while keeping the shelves from sticking out into the middle of the room as much. i love the redecoration though, the string lights especially!

I think this was a great idea to do, especially due to the fact that you’re going yo spend your first semester there. Dividing spaces helps A LOT when you’re confined to a certain area. It helps your brain to separate tasks and will prevent some major problems due to mixing your resting and working space.
