​@@luvvxox I'm not that person, but people usually write and draw in normal adult life. And to do that, you need pencils. Most people I know just prefer then over non-erasable pens.

I loved this video you're so relatable! I have used those erasable highlighters you bought, they work super well. Unfortunately, the erasers build up this black stuff on them, leaving dark streaks if you try to erase. It works totally fine if you get the black part off on scrap paper and then use it on the actual highlighter.

if you have any sort of disability, and qualify for accommodations, you can get an accommodation to have ipad/computer in ANY class regardless of professor rules. Just FYI. Anxiety/adhd/chronic pain all counts.

Look up grade 8 school supplies lists on Google and you’ll find some lists. Depending on your school, they might have a list of things you need specifically for your grade on the school website
