There is so much about this film that I missed growing up, like how it is basically a socioeconomic commentary on the 1980s. All the graffiti on the school (that isn’t there in ‘55), the decrepit downtown, etc. It’s a remarkably deep film and chooses to show many things rather than simply tell them - a sign of excellent filmmaking. And this 4K version really reveals all of those little details.

This movie is one of my favorites of all time. The mixture of comedy and genuine heartfelt emotion never ceases to put a smile on my face. I’m 18 and I grew up watching these films on DVD and later Blu Ray after my dad showed me them and they really resonated with me. I showed my friends the movie who had never seen it before and now we quote it almost every day. The 3 parts will always be a joy to rewatch, and I never want them rebooted. I actually love the Back to the Future Game because it separated itself from being a Part IV and instead just told a great interactive story in the style of the original movies, and didn’t feel like it was trying to tread on the films or ruin them. This series will always be special to me.

Marty: "Yeah history gonna change!",,,,,,,,,,That's the whole sense of the trilogy of Back to the Future

I like this trilogy because all scenes are connected from each other, from beginning to the end.

James Tolkan a very underrated actor for sure. He and Fox where never ment to get that close and touch noses while arguing, but Speilberg said it added a "realism" to the scene so they went with it. It's a crucial scene as "Strickland" See's Marty in the same eyes he saw his dad. The "Burger King" is in Burbank, CA Even though it's been remodeled it's still a popular tourist destination. 😎👍

All this time (no pun intended), I now realize that Doc setting all his clocks to run 25 minutes slow was a foreshadowing stepping stone to his next experiment when he sends Einstein one minute into the future in The DeLorean.

In a catch 22 irony twist, the head judge that mentioned that the music was "too darn loud" was Huey Lewis himself of Huey Lewis and the News. Lewis sang the song "Power of Love", the song that Marty played in the audition.

The first few times I watched this back in the day, I didn't realise it was Huey Lewis on the megaphone. Over the years I have spotted more things that are often in the background, like little Easter eggs waiting to be discovered! Brilliant movie, never gets old.

I have the original Blu-Ray box set of these movies and they look and sound great. This 4K transfer takes things to the next level plenty of more detail in the picture quality and vivid sharp colors. The sound quality has been improved as well.
