Lol. I'm a fan of Jollibee's. But like others mentioned, dunk the chicken in the gravy or get a piece of chicken and dunk it. Hey, if you dont like it as much, it's perfectly fine. Everyone has the right to like it or not! Lol. Thanks for another great review.

Next time, pull a piece of chicken off the bone and dunk it in the gravy. It's much easier and not as messy. I have a question for you that has nothing to do with Jollibee. I received a gift card from Goldbelly. After watching you eating dim sum, I have been craving some. There are two placed in NYC that look like they might have some really good dim sum. Jing Fong and Nom Wah. Which one would you suggest?

Spent a few days off and on in the Philippines. I was shamed the first time I went to Jollibee for pouring gravy on the rice. The way to eat the chicken is to tear off pieces and dip in the gravy. Quite good that way.

no freaking way!!!! i just saw that you put up a video about Jollibee, and just today, near the walmart that you and I went to, in chantilly va, a sign went up on one of the older/closed fast food places, where you may have noticed a mcd’s, taco bell, starbucks, wendy’s… well, they just slapped up a sign saying “Jollibee, coming soon, in may”…. i had only heard of them on some youtube videos but dont recall the details, but the website that i found (earlier today) looked yummy. so, im about to play the video and see what you think.. but what is the chance of this, huh??

I love eating Jollibee fried chicken. I prefer them over KFC. The one thing I wish they would offer as a condiment would be samba chili paste.

😊😊😊I ate Jolibee on Maryland Parkway at Boulevard mall. The spicy is better..not so bland. Churchs chicken from Texas is more flavorful. Churchs has a location on East Flamingo. Also a bit cheaper the Jollibee.

👍 I love 'chicken joy' since Jollibee had that on their menu. It's an acquired taste to the Filipinos. The gravy adds the flavor to the chicken but I put some on the rice also. I always buy a lot of food from Jollibee to take home since it's quite far from our place.

I'll have to agree with Danny on this one. I first had Jollibee in Hong Kong in 2000, I was passing by on a Sunday in Central and saw a packed restaurant of Filipinas then went in out of curiosity. It was good. Then they opened up in Queens on Roosevelt, I went early on, honestly it was so greasy and not impressive. They had a really good deal with a grand opening coupon. They're going to open one up in Brooklyn. I'll wait and try one last time. My favorite is still Popeyes, used to be KFC but they really dropped the ball.

Its a different style that is very unique, so different that either you love it (ppl who eat it in the motherland) or you dont. (ppl used to KFC, popeyes etc).

The gravy makes it worse for me, it really does nothing but make it a saucy fried chicken with no flavor, i prefer Popeye’s or Churches fried chicken and gravy

Best thing at jollibee is the hotdog, french fries, egg salad sandwich, and tuna pie. I dunno if they have those things on the menu in NYC, though.

In Vegas if you haven't already, you should check out the Crack Shack at Park MGM next to Eataly. They have amazing fried chicken.

Hi Danny your next visit to Vegas tey one of the joliebees out there. Would like to see how they are. Because I will be moving outside of Vegas and may in future put joliebees on my list of restaurants to try in Vegas so I am curious to know if it will be worth visiting. @@dannythemedic oh if you go out blue diamond rd to 160 and follow 63 miles you will come to the town of Pahrump it's has a few casinos and restaurants some larger chain style but a few are owner operated. Also there is appx 40,000 residents. It's just close enough to Vegas to go play. Yet far enough to where you don't have to deal with all the traffic and such from the big city. So that is why I will occasionally get to Vegas.

@@dannythemedic oh I think I know what you are asking about although I personally have not visited them yes it's legal because Pahrump is in Nye County. Where in Vegas is Clark County it's illegal. I did hear they have a restaurant not sure what the food is like. But I guess you could do a food review there. Far as. The other thing well that is whole different subject. I think if I went there even though I am single and 56 years old I don't think I could even have the nerve to talk to the women not say it's a bad thing and the women are probably very nice. I would be beat red from blushing. But if you go to the restaurant hope you can do a review there. Have a good day.

i dont think i ever dip things in gravy... to me, if you call it gravy, i pour... the closest thing to dipping would be if i had extra left over gravy on my plate and i had something like bread, and that gravy was delicious, i would wipe the plate with it....

The McDonald's in Hawaii still deep fry 😋😋😋 the pies (they also have different ones available besides apple), way tastier than the baked ones - for those that remember (I wish they would go back to frying the fries in tallow)

Me too, I like KFC (original flavor) even more than Popeyes. I noticed at Jollibee here in Southern California a part of the thigh is still attached to the drum. They saw through the thigh bone instead of just cutting through the joint tendon. The end result is that the thighs are smaller than they should be and the drums are larger than they should be.
