A little salt and malt vinegar is the only way. Never understood tartar sauce. This coming from someone who has never been to UK. Born in New York, but most places have malt vinegar. My family always thought I was weird using malt on my battered fish.

Hi Danny, I just got home last night may 4 from Vegas. I was at this restaurant. I wish we could have met up but I do not have your DM and it was not in your description or at least I was to stupid to see it if there. I'll be in NYC for the BDNY show in November so it will be nice if we can get this right. I will take you to dinner with a few of my customers or arrive early and we can go alone if you want. Have you tried the Cornish Pasty Company on E. Charleston? Recommend the eggs also. The Oggie is my favorite. The gravy dip it comes with is the bomb. No loud obnoxious music like this place.

Ten out the gate on something I've also never tried. Interesting that the fish is lean, I'm of the opinion its more about the breading and tartar sauce. Its a nice looking fry for sure! The live music is a bonus.

I love this place, I am part Irish but seldom get good Irish food. Irish breakfast and Corned Beef and Cabbage are amazing!! Great atmosphere with the band too. Dinner and a Show. Scotch Eggs for me next time for sure!!

Danny it was easy to bring every stone one at a time and free. 6 million Irish emigrated to America, they just put 1 stone in each suitcase. It's an old world trick.

Well, that was sure interesting. I love fish and chips, but it sounds like you were a bit disappointed with them. If I am going to take the time and energy, travel the distance and spend the money for a meal, I'm not sure I would be especially pleased to have a "neutral" tasting meal. So I would likely have been a little disappointed too. However the Irish deviled eggs sure might be worth a try. BTW, I've never seen deviled eggs prepared that way either. I liked that you took a little of the deviled egg filling and spread on the bread and also tried it like that. The fact that you liked it that way too says a lot about how well the eggs were prepared and how tasty they really were. It's one of the few times I've seen you rate a food item a 10, WOW. What an interesting concept of transporting the building (brick by brick) to a new country for reassembly. I'm not sure that was really necessary, but hey, It's great that they are trying to give their customers a true Irish Pub atmosphere. Thanx for another wonderful review Danny!
