It feels like Oli and the band spent the last few years in the hyperbolic time chamber. They are so much better live than they have ever been. Very hyped for more!

For sure! They’ve definitely improved over the years

It makes me so happy to hear Oli do these screams so well after hearing him trying to scream during the That's the spirit era

His vocal chords were so fucked then :( Im glad he's WAY better now
@zachhh31963 жыл бұрын
@@perpisdich3386 he sounds a lot better too with his growls and screams, seems like he’s been practicing his throat instead of just screaming with no technique

I was there for that, had no idea what was going on lol I started listening to them from sleepwalking and stuff 😅

How shocked were you when you heard that shit? I bet you had no idea they used to me a deathcore band. Heavy as fuck :D
@zachhh31963 жыл бұрын
@@caseyalbiero7004 it’s crazy to hear him scream like that again , sounds a lot better and like he actually practiced his vocal cords instead of screaming his throat out

if you look in the comments of the original vid, you'll see tons of fans who were there that said as soon as they started the medley, all the young That's the Spirit fans started moving to the back of the venue and were confused as fuck lmao they didn't even know

its like when a new member of the friend group watches the old friends reminisce on old times, and new friend is so confused on how it was back then

oliver had a problem with his vocal cords, I think that's why thats the spirit and AMO were lighter
@Heyjoe-ou7yu4 жыл бұрын
No, they want a new sound. And we like it.
@Kim_Muzzs4 жыл бұрын
@@Heyjoe-ou7yu I think it was a mix of both Oil's vocal cords needing a break and the band wanting a new sound
@Heyjoe-ou7yu4 жыл бұрын
@@Kim_Muzzs i dont think so.. cause he can record a studio version of heavy songs with damage of the cords..if they want to have heavy songs all the time. And take a break from touring
@Kim_Muzzs4 жыл бұрын
@@Heyjoe-ou7yu Whatever the reason for them going soft, it definitely helped Oli's vocal technique. Have you heard Kingslayer? His lows are pretty solid.

I think its more of BMTH wanting to expand and try different music. They've stayed relevant for this long by being ahead of the curve unlike other bands.

Wasn’t expecting it at all but I love all there albums/EPs, saw an interview saying oli wants to play more older stuff my Matt Nichols the drummer struggles to play the old stuff live cos it’s not how he plays anymore and doesn’t really want to but some how oli must of persuaded him😂
