there is never a too young or a too old i started traveling with my family when i was 7 i am 10 now and my gma is 72 and she is going with us around southeast asia for 3 months. just start saving! I get the point about never being too young or too old but I suppose (just a guess?) that she means that people that are young often have obligations such as school and/or limit budget to travel. Perhaps if you don't, friends around you do. So more difficult to go on long/far adventures together like Louis' group of friends is doing : )

Its hard to see people follow a low carb high meat/dairy lifestyle. I'm not one to ever say anything. Its just a shame when you can thrive and feel 100x better on a plant based diet. Its simple. I never imagined I would do it but here I am 1 year later feeling better than I ever have. Keep in mind this means you can eat unlimited fruits/vegs and carbs. Read The China Study or even here on youtube theres tons of information. :)

There is no one correct diet for everyone. Some diets work better for some people and not for others. Eat what makes you feel best and let other people figure it out for themselves.

I agree! Plant based all the way! It's good for everyone considering you can get everything you need from a plant based diet and it's good for the planet and animals. Win win from every aspect. Going plant based cleared up my skin issues!

I do agree with a plant based diet to some degree, but every diet has it's ups and downs and I would never recommend a diet solely living off of fruit and veg. Yes it's healthy but fruit has an extremely high content of sugar which is not good for your teeth or skin in the long run. We get the most amount of Iron from meat..period. Yes spinach has it and other plants but the body processes it differently so you can't actually get that much out it like you may think in some cases, depending which plant. It's better to have a high veg diet with plenty of protein and Vitamin/mineral dense foods. Oily fish in particular (being mindful of ones with mercury but small doses are fine), chicken and red meat a few times a week. Beans, Pulses, Lentils, brown grains. It's all good that fruit and veg is healthy but to eat just that alone for the amount you have to buy and eat to keep your energy levels high and to get the vitamins/minerals you need it can be a lot of work, especially in a busy lifestyle. I'm an animal lover but me boycotting meat doesn't change the fact that they get killed and meat provides a lot of nutrients in one serving than you can get from a lot of foods. Yes I know sat fat is in red meat and cancer risks but thats why you have it in moderation. It is all about finding what works for you, especially depending on your health condition but don't judge others who don't have the same diet as you ESPECIALLY when the vegan diet isn't the safest diet. Having a healthy balance and keeping your sugar, saturated fat, carcinogenic exposure (not eating charred bits of meat like black bits on bbq and burnt meat) and cholesterol in check is key. You can avoid a lot of risk foods by being vegan yes, but then you miss out on a lot of nutrients that keep you healthy and get absorbed quickly, that without your body can end up deficient in a lot of areas quickly. That in turn then effects your overall health and makes you susceptible to all them health risks again. If being vegan makes you and your gut feel light and clear skinned that's great but make sure your overall health is in check. Oh and don't forget that you shouldn't beat yourself up if you want that piece of cake now and again!
