The reason for his initial misfortunes is his requirement of setting up his camera to capture the events for us. There's not a doubt in my mind that this man would have done much better in the initial portion of the video without having to lug and set up specific angles for us. Thanks for sharing, I sense the military in you, one Infantryman hopefully to another, I appreciate you and your extremely informative, inspiring and entertaining content.

Love seeing the optimisation you have with your kit. The modern stuff you have is the stuff that makes the biggest difference: a good steel hatchet, lightweight waterproof tarp, paracord, metal cooking vessel and stout modern backpack (along with clothes). Everything else, can be served just as well by either making it when you get there (tarp pegs) or from natural materials you probably made your self. It's interesting to see what is *definitely* worth spending money on, and what is essentially just a convenience

This is how I've always wanted to live. Off the land, away from today's problems, like money, Bill's, tax, phones, social media. All the things that we think are important, but really they aren't. I always felt like I'm not living the life or the way I want to live it. We're expected to do things in a certain order and if you don't then in people's eyes "you must be doing something wrong" because you don't have a wife or kids at a certain age.
