Maybe I’m confused…we used the GSMNP provided bear cables as required. I’m pretty sure they meet that criteria. Nice trip. I miss doing this type of trip. Sawdust and Bone Valley were my two favorite camping spots. As good as the fishing is in the main creek it's even better in the higher tributaries. Especially if you like specs.

Thank you! We weren’t fortunate enough to make it up high enough to get into the specs. I specifically want to go back for that reason and spend more time in the higher elevations just to go after them.
