Hazel Creek NC Camp Sites Tour 2021

This is a tour of the different camp site on Hazel Creek in North Carolina. We started at the top, site 82, and mage our way down. This site includes a look at all the available sites, a couple of the bridges, one of the water sources, and a water tower of sorts. If you are thinking of going there, this video will help you pick a spot. Know that site 82 is about 8.2 miles up from Fontana Lake. It is a steep rock trail with a few tree trunk crossings to deal with.

That was a water gauge and intake you passed on by. They had a mill pond on your right down stream from there.

I pitched my tent in the last place on the video 18:08. Caught more fish in the lake than in the creek. I understand the creek aint so good down that low and the lake is not what it used to be either.
