First off, R.I.P to your precious handsome Blue. This video melted my heart because I felt Blue there with you both although not physically. He is there. Taz is , from what I can see polar opposite. But she is such a blessing in her own right. It was just so heart warming & wonderful to see her with you kinda carrying on Blues legacy. I know she can never replace him. But it’s as if she is picking up the torch so to speak & carrying on what you & Blue started together. I am just so happy that you are persevering & growing through the struggle of losing Blue. 9:28 A little tip I just learned last year. Those shells seem stale but youre supposed to microwave them for 15-30 seconds or so before you fill them(i dont remember the exact timing). The oil in them cooks them and they become crisp and amazing.

So happy you have that little girl to fall back on. Females are a LOT different than males in my opinion with herding dogs. Unique in there own way, but I have a feeling you will add a male in the future. I know all about losing the "one" it's true. You will never have another Blue. Just try not to compare any of them to him. They will all fall short and it's not good for you or future doggies. Just an old man's thoughts. I have had mainly heelers but a couple of Aussies and a few mixes called Texas heelers. Outstanding dogs. Love you girl and we won't ever forget Blue.❤❤❤

I found that if you rinse the taco shells with a little bit of water and then put them on a plate with a paper towel and put in the microwave it softens them up a little bit ❤

I lost my little Bubba a year ago now and still tear-up at the little things and miss him everyday. Sort of like you, I ended up with a new addition to the family about half a year before Buddy passed. A family friend gave me a pomeranian about 8 months old. Hi Maria, there are lots of opinions out there. I just want to tell you I have 2 dogs that came home as 12 week old pups, from the same breeder, grew up in the same environment, and one is Mr. Social butterfly, happy go lucky, the other is anxious and nervous about most things. Those are just their temperaments/personalities. They grew up the same way, in the same home. So I just watch and give each what they need in a given moment. You know what to do best with your dog. Too many opinions out there. We love to watch your adventures and seeing what you’re up to !! Take care ❤️

In my opinion it takes about a year to be okay with the new normal. My beautiful Bandit, a Belgian Shepherd, passed away last July at the age of 12 1/2 years. The best dog I could have asked for. You and Tazz (what a cutie) will have new adventures, but Blue will live on in your heart.❤

Over my lifetime, I've had many, many dogs, typically packs of 5 - 7. I loved them all but there are favorites, and then there are also once-in-a-lifetime dogs. At 69, I'm pretty accepting now of the Circle of Life. But after my last OIAL dog died, I was so angry. All my other dogs were just wrong. I wanted my Cuba. It took a long time to come to terms with the loss and show my other animals the love they deserved. What I'm trying to say is Be Patient With Yourself. Big hug 💖

We home rescued Greyhounds, we've lost eight over the years, and it never gets any easier. All of them will be with me till the day I die.
